Always having sensitive skin, I'm always on the lookout for a good clean cleanser that thoroughly cleans my skin without stripping too many oils while also providing a little moisturizing action. A very delicate seesaw. So far, I really like this cleanser. You can tell right out of the tube that it's very clean. There's really very little scent to speak of, just a very little bit of a pleasant fruitiness that doesn't last long. It's clear and this cleanser feels good. It spreads on very easily and gets in to clean the pores while also providing plenty of moisturizing action. Even though it doesn't look it, it actually feels a little creamy as you cleanse away.This cleanser is for all skin types but because of the creaminess, I suspect it might be a little better for normal to dry skin. Then again, sometimes that's exactly what oily skin needs even though it seems counter intuitive. My skin did not at all feel too moist after using so I wouldn't hesitate trying if you are on the oily side. My skin feels very clean afterwards with no excessive oiliness at all.It's at a good price point and just as good as some of the other facial cleansers I've tried that were much higher in price. I'll definitely keep it on my list for future purchases.

This clear gel cleanser is more for oily skin, or combo skin than dry skin. It helps control oil while also protecting the skin moisture barrier. Oily dehydrated skin may especially love this. No matter what I use, after washing my face I proceed with some moisture retaining product. ie; hydrating toner, serums, moisturizer, and/or SPF. My skin seemed soft after using it but broke out in tiny dry little blemishes after using for a long weekend away. Product is clear and smells like plastic when using. Smell is really bad. Overall did not like 0/5 stars

First off, this gel doesn't foam at all. It stays in a clear slippery goop until it's washed off my face. But, it does seem to penetrate my skin and clean.This gets 3 stars from me because as much as I can tell it's cleaning, I'm breaking out really bad from this. I have sensitive skin, and this is supposed to be for sensitive skin. Not only have I been getting pimples, but some of them are huge, angry, and sore. Usually they're not this bad.Does the product clean? Yes. Does my skin look shiny afterwards? Yes. Would I continue using it? No, because these angry red spots are getting bad the more I use it.

I'm 50 (as of a few days ago) and taking care of my skin is something I've only been actively doing for a few years. I've got a list of products I'm pretty committed to, but the areas that I try new things in constantly are cleansers and moisturizers. I do a double cleanse and I've got a bit of an obsession with cleansing balms and oils. I've also come to fully appreciate how important the ingredients are in the cleansers I use. Here's the details on why I love this one.To start, the consistency is quite a bit thicker than most cleansers. It's NOT made up of mostly water. It's chock full of good-for-your skin ingredients that don't strip the moisture from it during the cleansing process. It's effective enough to remove your makeup, even stubborn waterproof mascara, but it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry and tight afterwards. Like I said, the consistency is pretty thick, so it only takes a very small amount to wash your face, neck & chest area (I refuse to use the fancy word....it's your chest). It rinses away cleanly and doesn't leave a film behind like most moisturizing cleansers. I know that the name of this might make you think that it's more of an exfoliant than a daily cleanser, but the exfoliating ingredients it contains do so gently and over time with repeated use, so it's perfect for aging or sensitive skin (I've definitely got one type and occasionally both). In fact, it's gentle enough that I use it after I've done an intense chemical peel. Not like right after....I'm talking about day 9 or 10 after, when you need to get the last of that peeling skin off but need to be gentle to the new skin. Yep, this cleanser definitely has a permanent place in the ones I keep on hand.
