Great replacement to the retractable type
Changed to this because the retractable type never seemed to last. It's water friendly and easy-to-use.It's layout friendly too. It doesn't need to be held down when measuring long distances.I've added a small removable weight. It acts almost like a plumbbob for right angle height measurements.You will be able to do more with this then the retractable type.I've even used it to measure my dog for a new harness.

Too short
Not long enough to meet our needs. I had a difficult time finding the maximum length of the product and was dissapointed as a result. Will need to buy another measurer now. If you're looking for something short though, it seems to be good quality.

very nice quality love it. came with some extra measuring tape which was much appreciated. really love this thing. who needs retractable when you need reliable.
