I don't know what's going on with all the seemingly unfair negative reviews I've seen on amazon lately. This is at least the third product in just the past two months that I was hesitant to buy due to bad reviews.Anyway, these covers fit slightly tighter than the originals, and the internal contacts seem to have much more spring to keep the batteries connected than the original; Though, my one remaining original battery cover out of several controllers––I'd lost most of them before I realized that buying rechargeable AAs is more economical than replacing Microsoft's controller batteries when they wear out (an eventuality which I failed to consider until after it occurred)––is in pretty bad shape. It's held together with tape, the button is partially broken, and the internal contacts, if they originally had any spring, are now worn. Due to the damage, when using the original cover my controller would frequently lose power and turn off. Whether this is due to the contacts or the broken button (which causes the cover to not sit properly in the controller), I can't really say.Moving on, the release buttons work, on the new covers, and the construction is nearly identical to the original covers. I don't see any flaws in the plastic. I think the plastic is also a bit thicker than the original, so hopefully it's more durable. If the springs wear out, the plastic breaks, or the buttons fail, I'll come back and update my review (Though only if any of these things happen within the next, idk, 2-5 years, depending on use, at which point I think I'll have gotten my money's worth, considering 5 years is about as long as the originals lasted).For reference, I'm posting this review on the same day as receiving the product. My last cover cracked and needed a replacement so I purchased these and I'm not to happy with them. I can see it but there's something in both cases that's scratching the coating off the batteries. I don't want to modify the covers because they are really flimsy. I ordered one like this few months ago and my battery wouldn't come out after they died and messed up the battery really bad because of the mystery piece that digs into the batteries. I recommend buying the oem color ones and not these.

They kept me from having to buy whole new 360 controllers due to the inability to put batteries in them. Given that it's a console that's no longer officially supported, I'll take it.

i had no problems with using these. yes, they are a little snug but i've been using them for a couple months now and i have had nothing go wrong. if they do start to get worse in another few months i wouldn't care simply because these are very cheap compared to if you buy real xbox 360 backs. i recommend it still.

These were great replacement pack for my Xbox 360 controllers. Now, in my opinion the plastic was a little thin but not enough to make a difference for me. These fit the controllers perfect and hold the batteries well. The button used to eject the pack works great and i haven't had any problems. One thing i will mention is the set that i received don't HOLD in the batteries they would slide out if you flip it upside down but this isn't a problem to me i just flip the controller over and pop it in and its good to go. It does what is should do. It's a little lighter then the original ones. But if you are a sour loser and throws the controller when a game don't go well then I would say "Good Luck". The battery holder might not survive. don't drop it or slam it. I know I only needed one, but luckily I had another.

Used these to replace the lost factory original backs on two Microsoft controllers. They work well for what they are. The fit and finish isn't quite as good as the original but that in no way interferes with the function of backs or the controller.

La verdad no pensé mucho de ello pero; realmente me sorprendieron estos reemplazos. No tienen una gran calidad de elaboración pero son realmente funcionales y me resolvió mi principal inconveniente que era el problema de tener controles sin tapas de pila; además de que no se oxidan

Creo que el control ya debe tener un daño por eso no funcionó pero ajustó bien.
