After owning it and using it for 6 months, it will no longer charge my phone. Also, it takes almost two days to charge the unit, via power and it takes about a week to charge it using the solar. These charge times are without a load.

This product doesn't work at all. I bought it for a hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro and to take on safari. Unfortunately I can't return it because I am outside of my return window, which ended during my hike. I left it outside of my pack to charge during the entire hike to no avail. When I plug it into the wall, I can only get a 50% charge. This seems like an excellent product idea, but the one that was delivered to me is defective. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this product.

What can you expect from a portable charger? There are many portable chargers out there and some seem like they run out quickly after a few charges. This is powered by the Sun which is why it has the unique slick look to it. The solar panel completes the blue color to it and I think it fits well. It's light and simple to use, small but charges better than most low-quality chargers. and has grips to the sides. Weird, I know.When you're buying portable chargers, consider how much mAh you're phone needs to charge fully. Don't know what mAh is? Allow me to explain a little bit and I just learned this a few days ago but....mAh is a measure of power per hour. This has 5000 mAh meaning it will charge 5000 milliam/per hour, in comparison...- An iPhone has roughly about 1900 mAh and this has 5000 mAh so using this to charge your iPhone, it would take about 2 iPhone charges until this portable charger runs out of battery. Now, I'm not that decent with my math but it would take less than hour to fully charge an iPhone that has about 1900 mAh with this 5000 mAh. (The last statement I could be wrong) But it will take about 2 charges of an iPhone before this charger is drained from it's battery.Pros:-Light-Simple-Grips-Sleek looking-Comes with a Clipper-Comes with a USB cableCons:-One USB charging port-USB flap doesn't seem to stay all the timeOverall:This product works well and charges any device when needed, there aren't many flaws beside the fact that it only has one USB charging port but that's because this portable charger has 5000 mAh, if you really wanted more charging ports, go with a charger that has higher mAh. I mean... it does it's job :DI got this item at a discounted price or free for my un-bias review... and a video ;)

This is a great little solar panel charger for all your devices, think of how much more you could do with filming in remote locations being able to charge your devices while on the go or where no electricity is. I'm a vlogger so I need power for my adventures, search on YouTube Bensbergfilms I really needed this when I went to Moab Utah for a mountain biking trip this device would have came in perfect with charging my GoPro on the go.
