I love this unwaxed floss!!
I love this floss! For a long time I bought the GUM brand unwaxed floss--which I loved--and then they suddenly stopped making that so I needed to find a similar replacement. This DDM Unwaxed Floss is nearly-identical to the GUM unwaxed floss and now I love it! It lasts a long time (there's a lot on the spool) and it works SO well. I have no complaints and just ordered myself some more spools of this floss--highly, highly recommend!

My Favorite Floss
What's to like?1) It is very fine yet does not shred, reaching all the tight spaces. 2) Unwaxed, meaning it catches and removes plaque rather than just slides over it. 3) Comes in a giant size, so it lasts about a year. 4) Has two - not one - floss exit holes such that using the one opposite the cutter makes it easy to cut and at the same time prevents losing the floss back into the case. 5) Has a sturdy, not flimsy, container such that the floss spool doesn't yank out unexpectedly while tugging to make a cut.Cons?I wish I knew where it was made.

Works
Floss works fine. But as prior review mentioned, the dispenser makes it hard to access your next piece. But my easy work-around is just to put my finger under the floss between the hole that the floss comes out of, and the metal cutter - if that makes sense. That gives you a loose loop to make it easy to pull next time.

It works!
For years I had been struggling with waxed dental floss. I don't know why they wax it! For my teeth, all the waxed dental floss did was slide back and forth without collecting a doggone thing. One day, when I ran out of waxed dental floss, I grabbed some white sewing thread! It worked better than the waxed dental floss! I had to be cautious not to break it because, afterall, it wasn't meant to floss teeth. But the surface of the sewing thread grabbed the crap between my teeth. So I went looking on Amazon for UNWAXED dental floss (you have to S.E.A.R.C.H. let me tell you! But I finally found this! It arrived today, and with my first use, I can tell you: IT WORKS and it works well!!! I like the container, too. 200 yds of floss, and the case is slightly transparent, so you can see when you're getting low.

Perfect
My teeth are very close together. Most floss gets stuck! This is thin and perfect.

Can’t get it out of the container
The floss is wound so tightly around the spindle that it’s impossible to pull it out. We have two packages of this floss. Most days, we have to open it up, unravel some floss, and struggle to put it back together.

Still has some kind of coating
This is not unwaxed, I don't know what it's coated with but there is something. It is thin and so far hasn't split for me. I also don't like the dispenser much because the cutter is too close to the hole the floss comes out of so if that floss would come out of the cutter it could possibly end up back in the container. The top was open on my container when I received and it was a pain to get the floss threaded through and the top snapped on correctly. I most likely would buy again if my normal brand isn't available, but would prefer not to repurchase.

Good replacement for Gum Butlerweave Unwaxed
My long time favorite Listerine Gentle Gum Care floss became discontinued and I was on the search for a replacment when I came across the Gum Butlerweave Unwaxed. I like the butlerweave even better than the Gentle Gum care as it's more plaque retentive in wet condition. In the last few weeks, Gum Butlerweave Unwaxed became really hard to find so I went on the search again for a replacement. The obvious choice was the Gum Fine unwaxed floss, but I wanted something a bit more substantial like the Butlerweave. After the long search, this is the closest floss I could find to the Butlerweave. The unwaxed multi stranded thread of this floss is great at removing plaque even in very wet conditions. When I run out of the Butlerweave, this will be my go to replacment.(the third photo shows splayed out strands with Butlerweave Unwaxed on the left and the Nylon Unwaxed floss on the right)
