SERVICE DISCONTINUED on December 31, 2016
I received this email today------------Thank you for being a Lyve device user. We are grateful for your business.As of December 31, 2016, the Lyve service will be discontinued. After that date, your photos and videos will no longer be viewable through the Lyve mobile and Lyve desktop apps. As a Lyve Home or Lyve Studio owner, the original photo and video files will remain on your Lyve Device and can be exported to a readable format prior to December 31, 2016.Any information used by the Lyve mobile and Lyve desktop apps to display your photos and videos will be deleted after December 31, 2016.-------Without the service, Lyve is useless

Seagate drops the ball...DON'T BUY!!!!!!
Don't buy!! I bought my 2T Lyve Studio for $200+ less than 8 months ago, only to be notified today that Seagate is discontinuing their support of it on Dec 31, 2016 making it an expensive paperweight! I can't believe that they would discontinue support on this high $ item...especially when I have invested so much money & time into it. It was awesome and worked great!! I have been a huge supporter of Seagate for many years, but not now!!!! I am going to dump them as they have to so many of their loyal customers!

Please BE AWARE: Lyve is discontinuing their service December 31, 2016.I had one that I had been using a few months and loved it. I'm so upset that they are just going to discontinue the service.I bought a second one for my husband to use but we are returning it due to the fact that Lyve will not function as it should anymore. Very poor business practice in my opinion.

Cloud Services is dead, product is dead
why are they selling this still when they are closing down the cloud storage and the thing is just a useless brick now. I have one and it is only worth the plastic and metail inside which is not much, I would not advise to buy this

FYI......This service (Lyve) ends December 2016. Please check the website. If you are currently a member uyou can receive a FREE 2 TB external storage
