I'm not a person that likes to write review, but I'm disappointed with this product. It didn't brought a wall connection, and you kinda have to put it in a certain way to charge it. If you're left or right-handed it doesn't matter. Keep the light towards you horizontally, and place your phone vertically over the pad, and you're good to go. I've attached a picture as a demonstration. Of course the Ipod is not NFC capable, but you get the idea how to charge your phone.

I have a Galaxy Note 5 (no phone service) and a new Galaxy S8 plus. I have had no issues with the charging, except for on my S8 plus the back of my phone gets hot...I have a clear case with water and glitter...not sure if it is my case that makes it hot, but it does not get as hot with the Note 5 which also has a clear case (no water or glitter). The S8 plus holds a phenomenal charge, so I don't use the charger (which sits in my home office) much. At night I plug S8 plus in using the oem charging cable.

I bought this charger for my new Note 5 along with a fast charger OEM. The OEM works awesome, this one, not so much. I've tried repositioning the phone in every direction possible and no luck. It recognizes the phone and will say "wirelessly charging" but a few seconds later it will say "charging paused". I've tried it multiple times and the light only stays blue and never had turned green. Sad to say I'll be returning this.

Great if you use the right power brick.Tried this with my Nexus 6 and Blackberry Priv. Plugged this charger into a cheap small usb AC adapter. I found it nearly impossible to get either phone to charge.I then tried plugging this charger into a 2.5 amp usb charger, and both phones recognized it and started charging immediately. This charger does not work well plugged into a standard 0.5 amp plugs found in computers and most cheap phone chargers. I also tested this with a 1 amp powered USB hub and had better results. If you have a 1 amp+ power brick around, this thing is amazing and well worth the $5.

Never worked at all for me. I also bought a white one and that one worked intermittently. I had my phone charging and it would beep off and on to indicate charging / not-charging. Woke up the next morning with only a 70% charge. Can't say for sure it's this base as it could be the wireless piece added onto my iphone - although that had glowing reviews so I marked this down as a result... Plus, as stated earlier, only 1 of 2 worked (sometimes).

Worked exactly as expected. For any other tinkerers like me, this is a great charger to buy for projects. The whole thing comes apart easily, if you are trying.

I bought this for an overnight charger and it works great even with a fairly thick case. It doesn't charge fast but overnight it is fine.Sometimes it takes a couple tries to get it synced but that is only because of my phone case.The only drawback is my cat who likes to knock things off my nightstand, twice I found my phone on the floor uncharged where a corded charger would stay plugged in.

Works well for me. I have this in addition to a Samsung charging pad. This one is smaller and easier to carry around. Great for bringing to work.Price is great. Even if I lose it it's no big deal. I'll just order another. I might anyway just to keep one at work.
