Honzukuri Red Miso Paste 35.2 Oz

This was how I made myself miso soup every day for over a month. It went very quickly with me because it was so tasty! Salty, which I love! You have to seal it very tightly because it does dry out if air gets to it. Would buy again if I ever get that nonstop miso soup craving again!

The red miso is a flavorful product. The HONZUKURI RED MISO PASTE makes a delightful soup. I like to add green onion and tofu. It is also great for a stirfry. It's so simple - - just add enough water to please your personal taste. I would rather have a product made in the US. Oh well, next time I will search for that.

I really enjoy this paste. It allows me to make great tasting soups with little or no effort. (Or skill) Good price, good quality, and fast delivery time. Extremely happy and will buy again.

This is a full bodied red miso paste which tastes really good; but it has 2550 mg sodium per tablespoon. So I have been using 1/2 a teaspoon of it and a tablespoon of Honzukuri low salt miso paste which has 690 mg sodium per tablespoon.I have started to use it in about tablespoon amounts. It tastes good; but so much sodium.Eden Foods has Shiro (white) miso paste with 330 mg sodium per tablespoon. So I ordered some of that.
