This is a great mattress! It inflated within hours. It's very comfortable. The edges are a bit on the soft side when you sit on it but that's ok - I don't sleep on the edge! I did also purchase the smart box spring because i did need a new one, and love that alsoIt's a great value for the price. But I was really pleasantly surprised. Comes vacuum sealed and rolled up. Trick to opening it easily is to unroll the outer shrink wrap, then for the bag, cut the 2 long sides open first so it starts to fluff up, then cut 2 short sides open. Once fully expanded, just pull out the bottom wrapper.I own a Lucid 8” foam mattress before and only complaint is the sides tends to sag a bit when I sit on the edge.This bed expands to 7 in and as described, even if I sit or lay on the edge of the bed. The side does not collapse and I am an average size adult woman. Exactly what I want.I would describe this mattress as firm, but not super firm. Perfect for my daybed/trundle.
