Been working with these products for a long time, and have never really had trouble with install. While this took a little bit longer to get in, it fits really well and is exceptionally durable

Two issues...1) The screws to grio the dry wall are low quality soft metal, and so hard to turn that you risk breaking the box. If you swap the screws, it is fine.2) The HDMI outlet color matches the faceplate, but the 110v outlet doesn't, so it looks very poor.

Great high low voltage box. A little tight if connecting several HDMI cables though.

Gas fireplaces often have a 120 volt fan switch and a low voltage gas control switch. It's not code to combine these two on one box. This box was a perfect solution.

Beware, this item is not compatible with Bryant Electric RR1512W 2-Gang Recessed TV Connection Outlet Plate with 15 Amp 125V Tamper-Resistant Duplex Receptacle. Amazon suggests buying both, but they are not compatible. Returned it and picked up a good ole double receptacle box from the hardware store...worked like a charm!

Used this in the MB closet to bring in line voltage to power an LED tape transformer so that all of the wiring is tidy inside the closet. A brush-style escutcheon for the low voltage side works perfectly, you just need to get the right one like most things. In this case, Arlington makes one that is a simple brush that is one-gang Decora. Slap a two-gang Decora switch plate over the whole box and you are all set! Just a warning, this will not work with the NICOR Lighting PRCP2 PrimeChime Plus Door Chime, and I suspect other large devices designed to sit inside a standard 2-gang electrical box. I even tried modifying it by cutting out portions of the box, no dice. The mounting screws are molded so that they take up too much of the box interior.

I would recommend. Must have the tools to cut a whole in drywall and route the wire which is the hard part. If you are comfortable pulling wire through walls, you can install this box. No sweat.

The box itself was fine, but for some reason, Amazon has this item "Frequesntly Sold with" the "Bryant Electric RR1512W 2-Gang Recessed TV Connection Outlet Plate".Having purchased both assuming this means they work together, I have discovered that this is NOT the case. As a novice I would never have known this. This is more an issue with Amazon then this item itself.My electrician was able to make it work, but not with the Bryant Electric RR15.
