Points for honesty. After the first cup or two you will probably be overwhelmed.
This is an occasional good-for-something-different type of coffee. I liked it well enough at first with its chocolate and bitter cherry tones under the nice black walnut taste, but the roast is so dark there is an overwhelming burnt aftertaste in addition to an unpleasant taste of tobacco leaves. I think Copper Canyon did exactly what they set out to with this, it's just not what I want to drink. I'll have to try one of their lighter roasts.
