The stuff works great
February 13, 2017I wrote the customer service team the same day that I received the product before and it got stuck didn't workI got an email quickly apologizing and they placed an order for me at no additional charge for replacement just asking me to dispose of the original one.Today I got it and immediately I decided to try to fix the big crack in my popcorn ceiling layer. Which is right next to my light fixture.I did the best job I could and I used a putty knife to smooth out the big blobs I put it on there. It looks pretty good so far.And I have to give a shout out to Amazon for great customer service. I'm a big fan.February 9, 2017 It arrived stuck in the can and will not spray again after one small spray. I been shaking the can for 10 minutes here in the ball go back and forth and try and over and over. You can't return this product so by at your own risk hopefully you will have a better experience than me.

Awful
Even with a dropcloth it sprayed EVERYWHERE !!! And it was not the texture I was looking for. Instead of smooth it was sharp & nasty I will never buy it again......

Easy! Perfect for small patches.
This worked exactly as expected. I had some popcorn texture fall from the ceiling in two 5x5 inch places. I would by no means ever use this for large patches of area or for an entire ceiling. It was a little bit messy but nothing that couldn’t easily just be wiped away from the walls or a solid floor like tile or wood. I would remove anything from the area you didn’t want to get messy like rugs and photos, anything textural/textiles. You will have some spray fall down in you so be aware. I just stood out from under and extended my arm and had no issue. It’s by no means perfect but is popcorn ceiling really perfect to begin with? For a large area you’re better off just scraping it all off and re-finishing.

Great product, but follow the instructions!
This is a great product and does *exactly* what's advertised. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!Helpful tips:1) This will only work for covering a small area and for small patchwork. This is not for covering a large area at all, but if you have a small area (no larger than 2' x 2' total, this is perfect. If you know that going in, this will do exactly what you need. If you need to cover a larger area, get multiple cans, or use a different patch product.2) Shake the heck out of this stuff before you use it. It takes about three or four minutes of very vigorous shaking to loosen the stirring ball in the can, but if you don't do this, you'll just make a mess and waste the can.3) Make sure the temperature of the room is right (between 70 and 80 degrees F). This is important.4) Cover the surrounding area with plastic. This will come out in a wide spreading spray. When the can starts to run low (it will still feel heavy), the spray will come out with less force and land on the floor...MAKE SURE ANY CARPET IS COVERED for about 4' in all directions. My wife might one day forgive me for the spot on the carpet.5) hold the can a bit further away than you think you need (around 18" to 24" away). The less you use, the better.6) "Feather" your coverage with back and forth spraying. Once I did one spot and got the hang of it, the second spot I did is nigh on impossible to notice (the first one is also difficult to spot unless you're looking for it).7) Make sure to use a primer. The Killz brand primer was perfect. That gives this a perfect surface to stick to.8) Use open windows and fans. This stuff is great, but the fumes from this and the primer will be a bit strong and will need ventilation.I had to patch two areas...one about 12" x 12" and another slightly smaller. I scraped the surface smooth, sprayed on the Killz primer and let that dry for an hour, then sprayed this on the surface. I quickly got the hang of it and it was a breeze to use. Once it all dried by the next day, you'd be hard-pressed to notice either area. The fumes from the primer were pretty strong, and you must take care to cover surrounding areas for overspray for both the primer and the texture spray. However, they worked great. If you need to cover larger areas, get other similar products made for larger areas, but for small patches this is the way to go.

Only works for about 3 mins
This item works really well for about 3 mins. Then it starts to just spit little pieces out...even though the can still feels mostly full. Luckily I only needed to fill a very small space. It does match fairly well and it does what it says it does;just not for very long.

Worth my time and money.
Great product. I have Very little skill when it comes to home repairs and DIY. But I’m pleased with how my ceiling came out. I shook the can for about five minutes. Then I tested it on some cardboard. I’m glad I did. I think it helped. Overall, this paint was easy to use. I read reviews and tried to follow other reviewers suggestions. I did spray it on too thick but that was user error and not the products fault. If I ever have to repair a pop corn ceiling again (and I hope I don’t) I bet my results using this will be even better. Learn from me, practice on card board first. Spray a light coat. Then later add more.

Horrible Product!!
I watched videos of how to use this product before I even purchased it and in the video it "seemed" to work well. However, this product did not work at all!! I shook the can as directed, it barely sprayed. I heated the can and shook it up, it barely sprayed. I shook it some more, barely sprayed. Ended up with more spray in my hair and on my clothes than on the ceiling. Terrible product and a waste of good money. :(

Works well. Good price
This product works really well. I had trouble with this product (I kept it for a year before using it) but I tried again. This product should have a warning that it won't work as well if kept too long. It says to shake well, but if it is fresh it takes less shaking and if it is old (mine was a year old) no amount of shaking could get it to work. I will buy more to finish the job.
