Eccentric Systems Quick Torque Cam for Double Pedal

Ran into a little problem with the set screw loosing up, I used locktite on the set screw and it still loosened up had to back it up with another set screw that had locktite on both set screws and that seemed to work well. Very satisfied with the product it really helps in increasing those double bass drum beats in per minute.

I've been searching for the holy grail - a modern pedal that feels like the Speed King, but without the squeak and slop. Some time ago I picked up a used Pearl Eliminator strap drive. I love the thing, but with any cam installed, it's just a wee bit sluggish on the return. I thought I'd give this a try. Does not work for the Eliminator. It's not worse, but not better - just different, and I don't need to spend money just for "different," The one thing I really did NOT like with it on the Eliminator is that it was hard to get the beater to the head unless the spring was loosened so much that it completely lost tension at the back stroke and went into free-fall before being caught by the spring passing the mid-point. Might work for some pedals, does not work well for the Pearl Eliminator.
