In 1978 Louis Marx was licensed by Pedigree to distribute Sindy in the United States. She was an immediate hit with little girls AND their mothers, who appreciated the more wholesome appearance compared to Barbie! We are delighted to have obtained the original 1978 Marx Sindy doll, still in original box, mint condition. New Old Stock from a toy store that had these in storage. Dressed in her print dress shown on the initial brochure, she comes with her "Sindy's World" reference booklet and a ballerina style white plastic display stand. Sindy is wrapped in plastic bag inside the shipping box. Box has logo of Sindy on outside with some label wear; inside the doll and accessories are mint in plastic bag.
