The cotton is high end and feels like ringspun or combed cotton. Against the skin, it feels like a second skin and very soft touch. The fitting is great for skinnier/fit individuals but would not recommend it for husky people as this is more like a tailed fit such as it hugs the sides of your waist and flatters your arm and chest muscles. The tag on the side is no problem as it is not itchy or bothersome. Unless you look down at the tag, you will not even notice it.
