Best product available for control of ceiling light from one or several switch locations..
Used this to replace Skylink wireless switch & receiver. This new switch & receiver is MUCH better. Came preprogrammed, a time saver.Installed easy ( you need skills to wire wire ceiling lights). Unlike Skylink, it works every time! There is no noticable delay between pressing switch and light turning on. There is no battery to replace. That a great convenience.A technical detai l not mentioned in the description: this product complies with Enocean standards. (That is a good thing). This is not a "smart device"... and that is wonderful!!!! No need to connect to wifi. No risk of getting hacked. Will work even if internet is down. And hey, do you really need to control lights by voice or phone app?Simple is better. Get off your butt and turn the light on/off by pressing a switch. Really. You will live longer.๐

Easy to install and solved my problem.
I have a wall switch that was behind furniture due to the configuration of my room. In less then 10 minutes I was able to install the transmitter and have a their remote decora style switch moved to a much more convenient spot. A little pricey but seems well made. Works great so far. Just like a normal switch.

Brilliant light switch
I bought this switch almost 8 years ago, and itโs been working perfectly from day one. The no-battery technology is brilliant and straightforward: the pressure that you use when pushing the light switch provides just enough kinetic power to transmit a signal to the wireless receiver thatโs connected to a nearby light fixture. In our situation, the receiver is wired to ceiling fixture about 10 feet away from the switch โ and it works every. single. time. Couldnโt be happier with it. If youโre installing a light fixture that isnโt already wired to its own switch (and you donโt want to mess around with running wires through your walls), this is the solution.

Perfect Solution for a Difficult Problem
I have an old house with plaster walls and wanted to put in a light switch to control two light sconces in a bathroom. An electrician that was working in my house recommended that I use a wireless switch to control the lights rather than the button on the wall plate. Had it not been recommended by an electrician, I might have been hesitant to buy and install one of these. I was initially taken back by the price, but when you factor in the time and effort to put holes in your walls and then plaster them back up again, this is a real bargain. Based on all of the reviews, I believe this product will be reliable over the long run, so in the long run, this product is cost-effective. The instructions were very clear, however, it would have been nice to know there are green and red LEDs on one side of the unit and I installed it with that side facing the wall. No big deal - they just tell you that the unit is either on (green) or in standby (red). I will know for next time. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this product to others who need a switch for and existing light fixture.

Perfect solution for my insane kitchen lighting
The house we bought had the most annoying kitchen light situation you can imagine. We have some recessed lights over the island on their own switch, a main ceiling light on its own switch, another ceiling light on the other end on its own switch and a group of recessed lights over the stove, yes you guessed right on their own switch. So, to get the kitchen lights on I had to switch on FOUR switches and when leaving I had to make the same round to switch them off. ANNOYING. After asking different electricians and getting their quotes as well as the info that for the two ceiling lights they would have to open up the ceiling in order to put all the lights together we were totally frustrated. Runlesswire simple light switch kit solved our problem with no walls or ceiling to open, an installation as easy as switching switches and roughly 1/4 the costs of the quotes I got. Programming the four switch/ receiver pairs to work with each other was very easy. Now I can switch the whole kitchen on from one switch and off from another when I leave the kitchen on the other end. Every switch is turning every light on or off. We put two of the runlesswire switch inserts into the existing wall plates, replacing the existing switches but used blanks for the other two existing switches and used the complete runlesswire switches on two different, more convenient locations, since they donโt need batteries or power we could put them were we wanted. Thank you, thank you!!! Yes the price is on the high side and unfortunately there is no discount for buying more than one, but I am so happy with this product that I would not deduct even half a star if it would be possible. Our lowest quote was $1900 and the highest $3500, so we paid less with less destruction. Win Win. Absolutely the perfect solution for us.

Reliable product but overpriced
I installed this same switch over 3 years ago and it still works flawlessly. I just got another one and it works perfectly and installation is very easy. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the price. I am sure this product is better built than the $30 dollar competition but they need to get their price down. However, if you don't mind paying a premium for a very good product that works right out of the box then this is the one to get. I will be needing two more and will look for other cheaper options but if the price were not an issue I would definetly get these.

It works great
The switch works well. There is zero delay in the on/off functionality unlike some other wireless remote switches I have used in the past. The switch's default position is "in between" the up position and the down position. When you click the top or bottom it returns to the "in between" position. That isn't a big deal to me, but I figured I would mention it. I love that that the switch part does not need any batteries. It is kinetically powered by you clicking on it. The switch does not feel cheap at all, and it looks perfectly at home next to my other Leviton Decora switches. I think that is because Leviton used to make a switch just like this that they have since discontinued. My guess is that this company and other companies like it bought the license to clone it under their names.I think they are using the fact that hiring an electrician to run wiring for a new switch is expensive to justify the price for these switches. I'd wager these things cost maybe $10 in components to manufacture, if that. That reality kinda sucks, but at the end of the day this switch allows me to do what I want to do for comparatively less money!

Inexpensive and reliable
Fantastic.- Price is inexpensive for what it is. I read reviews that say its pricey but in the same sentence say it costs more to do wiring. I looked around for a similar item of this quality that was less and nothing matched up to the dependability and happiness of this product. So I dont get where they can label this item as pricey except perhaps for them any item being $100+ considered to be a pricey item in general. Please dont pay attention to any claim of this being pricey. It in every case scenario is well worth it.The product works every time. You can rely on it without worry. You do not need to break open your wall! Not anywhere. I used two of my own wood screws to drive in the box. It comes with a faceplate but in my case I needed to purchase a faceplate and was happy to confirm it requires a standard face plate you can purchase for pennies at any hardware store. The faceplate that came with mine required the outlet to be inside the wall where I was needing it to be outside of it.I needed to have a more convenient spot for an existing switch. It works so well that it opened up ideas for where I can more conveniently place other switches.

Useful
The controller takes up a lot of room in the fixture box, especially a renovation box. That limits the type of LED light that can be used as many are designed to project into the fixture box.
