It works fine IF you have a 32 bit PC. Does not work on Windows 64 bit machine.

I guess it could be worse
I bought this instrument about 6 months ago for a consulting project. I looked around and bought it from an auction site for around $155. I needed a relatively large number of channels for that particular job, and this was about the only economical choice. There are other inexpensive logic analyzers that will capture fewer channels, and I would definitely suggest you look at them first.I can't say the Hantek didn't work. I eventually got it to do what I needed, but it was a long struggle. In particular, I needed to use an external clock, and this device really wasn't setup to do that well. Even now, I have to open and close the PC application 5-10 times to get it to "sync" properly. Once synced, it will stay synced for hours and produce good results. One major caveat: I couldn't find a version of the application software that would work with Windows 7. When I did run the application (apparently designed for WinXP), it produced the blue screen of death. I don't think that is supposed to happen with Win7 unless the ap is particularly hostile. It seems to run fine in the Win7 Pro virtual PC running WinXP.Oh, and don't expect any support. The company does answer emails, but with little content.BTW, this review is totally about the manufacturer and not the reseller. I doubt they would be of much help. So, I would suggest a potential buyer look at other suppliers if they can get by with fewer channels. If you really need 32 channels, make sure to host the application on Windows XP. I would also definitely look elsewhere if your application requires an external clock.
