Bring On the Surfin' Bird!
If you love the surf music of the sixties, this one's for you. The title song is great, but I had no idea what to expect in the rest of the album. Pa Pa Ooo Ma Ma Maow goes so far! The rest of the songs are typical surf songs from that era, and the whole album is just a lot of fun and well worth your while. Check these guys out, dudes and dudettes! They'll make you dance!

Classic rock
Ever since hearing the birds the word on family guy, I fell in love with the song, so I bought it. Everyone hates me now because I play it constantly like Peter did in family guy. Don't you know about the word, cause everyone knows about the word.

This K-Tel CD has only two tracks.
I was led to this CD by clicking on the "available in other formats" for the CD with 16 tracks. Didn't realize that this is not the same CD and has only two tracks.

Quality vinyl record
In a day when quality products from the music industry are few and far between, this 1999 reissue of The Trashmen's debut album is a ray of sunshine. The record was produced on heavy-weight vinyl (187 grams on my postal scale) and is clear as a bell. The label and description do not indicate the weight of the platter, but that is in audiophile territory, helps preserve the sound quality, and prevent warps over time. For those who like to listen to music on records, not some compressed digital version, this one is a must have. On a mid-level turntable or above, the sound is magnificent. There is no audible surface noise, and the detail of the sound is on a par with 1960s releases before records were thinned up by the manufacturers in the 1970s to save money, at the cost of sound quality and durability of the record itself. I've had half-speed masters that don't sound this good. The label on this Sundazed reissue indicates that the original masters were used to create this pressing, so what you get is sonically true to a 1964 original, not some modern remastered hybrid that the musicians never intended. It is even still in mono, and has not been remastered into stereo. About the only thing inaccurate about the description by Amazon is the track listing, which is probably from the CD version. The actual track listing follows that of the original album. Side 1: Surfin' Bird, King of the Surf, Henrietta, Miserlou, Malaguena, It's So Easy, Break-Up, Church Key; Side 2: Tube City, My Woodie, Bird Bath, Kuk, Money, Sleeper, Walk Don't Run, and Raw-Hide. I feel I got my money's worth with this album, and then some. Pick up a copy and play it repeatedly until your talking dog and megalomaniacal baby destroy your copy and buy all others in town. Amazon will ship you another.

Only 2 songs
Did not realize there were only 2 songs on this disk. Needs to be in bolder print and not in minor description...apparently there is another album with same cover that has a full album. I was ordering several disks of this era and did not think someone would have this listed and not fully identify it was not a full album.

Skipped right off the bat
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Every song skips. All my over old records work fine so it has to be this record. N this was first time playing it.

The eighth wonder of the world.
Surfin 'Bird - This is an unrivaled masterpiece. In 1965, I first heard this legendary band. When the song Surfin 'Bird went, I almost fell under the table. I had never heard such a miracle before. For sixty-five years I listened to this group 1000 times. There is nothing to comment on here, it's a real art! Pleasure and joy will get you if you buy this diamond.
