Mxsaver 5050 SMD Led Strip Light Kit, Pure White, Indoor and Outdoor, Used for Home, Garden, Office and Wedding Party Decoration, Waterproof (300 LEDs, 16.4ft, 12v)

This set of 5050 SMD Led Strip Light Kit, Warm White 300 LED's is very bright. Depending on where you place these, they can light up a small room quite easily. I replaced a set of RGB colored LED light's that I had placed originally in my kitchen with these. Same specs overall, but the Power adapter burned out within two weeks. The main difference with this set, is, no remote for controlling brightness level. Or on/off switch. But aside from not having an on or off switch, it's easy enough to just unplug them. The lights give off a light very similar to a natural sunny day. Very warm, and yet bright. Like all LED light strips they come with self adhesive backing. Which for the most part doesn't really work that great. I've found using 3M 2 sided tape which can be bought based on weight of the object you wish to hang, will hold them permanently. Also, with all the LED lights, I've found leaving them on too long at any one given time will overheat the power adapter. So I would advise caution in this regard, with this set as with any. As power adapters for each set are difficult to replace as specs for each seem to vary based on amps. And replacement power adapters are not interchangeable. And so far the only power adapter available is one sold here on Amazon. But it won't work with all sets. Especially not RGB sets. The MXsaver is a nice set. I would have preferred having the ability to dim the lights via a remote. As most sets in this price range do come with remotes. And an inline on and off switch would have been an added plus too for this price range.I did receive a discount for the purpose of reviewing the Mxsaver LED light set. My review is based on a comparison of 5 different sets. Depending on what type project you intend on doing, the main thing is, do the LED lights have connectors at both ends. Do they have remotes for controlling the effects of the lights. This set has neither. That's why 4 stars versus 5. Good product, limited use. Value wise, there are a lot more sets available in this price range that are remote controlled and have connectors at both ends. And that is my honest opinion. Thank you for reading.

This LED strip works perfectly! I actually needed some way to light up my garden area in our garage. The garage lights are pretty weak to begin with, but we recently moved a trailor into the garage, and the trailor basically obstructs most of the dim light, allowing only minimal light to hit my garden section. I really couldn't see much at all without a flashlight or opening the garage door. These lights resolved all of my lighting problems, as you can see from the pics.The light strip is kind of rubber-like on the LED surface, and is pretty thin. There are no holes in the plug - see pics - but the plug seems to hold securely in the outlet so far. Setup is very simple and intuitive. The lights are very bright, but a soothing warm white color. I did not use the sticky surface of the LED strip, as some reviewers said it didn't stick to other surfaces well, and my garden area is covered in saw dust. I actually threaded the strip through the metal grate on the top and bottom of my garden storage shelf; along the sides of the shelf, I secured the LED strip with zip ties. So basically, I created an almost complete rectangle around my storage shelf using the LED light strip. The portion of the light strip on the top of the rectangle faces down, lighting the upper shelf, and the portion of the strip on the bottom of the rectangle also faces down, lighting up the entire lower shelf. The last pic is after installation is complete, with all other lights turned off in the garage - look at how well both shelves have been lit up - so perfect!!! I can see absolutely everything on the shelves with the LED strip as the only source of light!The light strip gets a bit warm if you touch it, so I don't intend on leaving this on unsupervised, or for excessive periods of time - too much saw dust all over my garden shelves for me to feel comfortable leaving these lights on all the time! The only thing that I might add, which might not be too practical, is a light switch on the cord so you can just switch the cord on each time you need it, instead of searching for the plug and plugging it in each time you need it. Honestly though, this is an amazing LED light strip that suits my needs perfectly! I will be purchasing more to light up other areas of our garage, and I highly recommend this light strip to people with similar lighting needs! The light strip seems very reliable and is incredibly easy to setup and install.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I've been watching out for a light source to place under my umbrella outside for enjoying my porch at night. I was considering buying a tubular strip of lights but hesitated, since I felt they'd weigh the umbrella down too much. Luckily, I was able to obtain these at a discounted rate for an unbiased review, and they're working really well.They're bright enough to serve as more than ambiance but not so bright they're obtrusive and obnoxious. And since they were so light, they easily wrapped around the bars holding the umbrella up without having to secure them at all. The locations you could use these are many. I saw one reviewer for a similar product use them as under lighting in a kitchen, and it looked awesome. I may buy more of these to do that.

This is the third set of these LED strip lights that I've purchased so obviously I'm a big fan. I use them on woodworking projects and recently I used a set for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. They are 12 volt lights that come with a transformer, and are deceivingly bright. Sometimes I need to cut the strips to fit a project, you can cut the string about every third light. The adhesive is high quality and I haven't had one peel off yet. For the third time now I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

These are far better than I expected. SUPER bright and you can adjust them to be dim as well. You can make them any color with just a touch of a button. I actually bought 5 sets to line my swimming pool but I have to wait for a few extensions and connectors to come in before I can finish the project. I plan to post photos once I am done with the install.
