2 MONTH UPDATE BELOW!!This board is so beautiful! We have conditioned it with butcher block a few times. No splinters or any separations that other reviewers have mentioned. The company even emailed me to ask if I am enjoying my board and how they can make it better. Highly recommend!UPDATE:Changed review because I keep oiling it multiple times a week with about 5 layers but it splinters like crazy. I can't get it to stop splintering and drying out. I've never left it in water and took great care of it. Only owned for two months and now I have to throw it out or just use it as a decorative item because I don't want wood in my food. Do not recommend.

I was disappointed with the finish of the board, and the owner did a great job of responding and sent a replacement. Take note Of the dimensions... It is precisely as described. About the same thickness as a plastic cutting board. The grain is lovely, and looks even better with a good oiling. For the cost, it's a good value. I prefer the side without the drainage canal, the flat surface serves better for cutting and prep. Hand washing and frequent oiling is key to getting the best out of it. As I mentioned, the first board was imperfect (replacement sent by the owner), however I sanded it and oiled it so it can be used. Stacked together, with the replacement board on top, I really like the height. I can also use side by side to double the workspace- that works very well for bigger jobs or when I prep ingredients and pile them up for easy access and use. I would have rated the board itself as 3 a 3.5, however with the customer service and the extra care I described, it's a 5.

I purchased two and I am extremely happy with both..Five stars. Seller contacted me regrading my satisfaction and I couldn't be more happy. This is a superior product and I wish the company continued success.

The bamboo is a beautiful color, very durable, the perfect size and I would recommend this product. The instructions ask that you use Mineral Oil or Coconut Oil before use, and I used Coconut Oil. It really brought out the color of the wood, and made it a smooth surface for cutting. The drip edge is always an added convenience. I will probably be looking at more products from this company.

Despite mixed reviews, I took that leap of faith - and fell. This is a gorgeous cutting board that we love and made a countertop resident. However, after a month of use and care performed according to manufacturer's instructions, it failed us. First, it chipped! Can you imagine a bamboo skewer in your food? Then, a few days later it cracked down the back, which created this bow and a promising safety hazard.It would be like cutting on a seesaw. However, the company does have a money back guarantee, which I will be inquiring about. If the product we received is a defect, I would consider a replacement. It's such a beautiful cutting board!UPDATE 05/07/2017Upon receiving a refund for the defective product, we purchased this board a second time in hopes that it would not fail us again. It arrived promptly yesterday - thanks to PRIME. My inquiry was taken care of by Dustin, the owner. However, I did receive several follow-up emails asking to retract my initial review because my sole review was the cause of his 30% decline in sales. Until I'm provided with statistics and factual information that my single review is the actual cause for sales declines, I doubt the accusation. I have read previous reviews of the same cracks, which is most unfortunate, but my preceding review will stay.If this second board doesn't meet or exceed my expectations, or shows sign of manufacturing defect within a short period of time, I will not be purchasing a third board. For the time being, I've given it a 4-star rating for the new board.

Very beautiful cutting board. It is a good size for some medium chopping and etc. I have a few boards two booz boards and this seems very nice.the only thing that I can say not 100% positive is that it slips a bit on my counter but I am used to this at work and put a non slip piece of shelf liner under it or damp paper towel and it does the trick. I would definitely recommend this board. It would also be a nice presentation board for cheese or hors d'ouvres

UPDATE: The seller contacted me and refunded my entire purchase price. I really appreciate that they stand behind their products. I'm sad that the board didn't hold up for our usage. Changed from 1 to 3 stars because of customer service._____________________I ordered this in late January (barely 7 months ago) and this thing is officially done. I use it almost daily to prepare meals for 2 people. I wash and dry it regularly and treat it once a week with oil, but it still dried out so badly that it warped and cracked through the middle. I'm using it for firewood while camping in a couple of weeks.

I was surprised when I opened the box - the cuttiing/cheese board was even prettier than pictured and I thought the picture was pretty good. I love it so much I display it on my kitchen wall when not in use. I was very impressed with the easy instructions that were included that will help extend the life and beauty of the board. We have some health issues in my family, but I always feel confident when using it because the wood is grown organically and the anti-micro bacterial properties of the board. I love it so much I already gave one as a gift to a family member, and they loved it too!
