Disappointed in Quality and Construction
Like most of the real and honest reviews I've read about the HIFI ELITE Super66 - Over-the-Ear, Wireless, Bluetooth Headsets, Microphone-feature, Noise-Isolating, Lightweight Headset Design headphones, the very first thing I would note is that they are far from noise-cancelling or noise-isolating. For roughly $50, I knew I was not getting a Dr Dre Beats or Bose quality noise cancelling product and I expected that. What I did not expect is poor quality construction. I purchased a pair in March and they have now cracked, exposing the wired connection to the actual headphone. I did not step on them or drop them. I am quite particular about my purchases. (I carried an iPhone 4s for almost seven years...never dropped it or scratched it) They were always stored back in the box after each use. Quite disappointed!

The smell was so bad that while sitting the train
The headphones do what they say they are going to do, but they had a noxious odor that I could not decrease or eliminate. The smell of the headphones gave me a ridiculous headache and made me nauseous. I tried to put it in a box with a dry scented paper towel, but it did not work. Then the plastic started to peel. The smell was so bad that while sitting the train, the person accross from me was able to smell it!!! I tried my best to work with it, but I had to put them in the garage because it made my house smell awful! I am sure this would have been a great product and I am very disappointed that the smell, which I am convinced is a health hazard, made it unbearable.

These headphones have a very distinct smell to them. So much so that I am throwing them out and getting my daughter new headphones! They literally smell awful! The odor from them fills the room they are in! It’s disgusting! I wish I could return them but I’m sure it’s too late for that! Highly disappointing!

They smell awful (who would think headphones would have a smell??)
Have to update my review. They WERE great headphones for the first couple months, but now they smell. How do headphones develop a smell?!?!? The smell has gotten worse over the week. Kitty litter is what comes to mind, hard to say exactly what the smell is. My wife and I have tried a variety of things to get the smell out, but nothing has worked. Again, I ask, how do headphones even get a smell? Otherwise, the headphones were great. Disappointing...Here is my initial review for the first two months I had them: Love these headphones! Great sound and very comfortable fit. They stay in place nicely while I'm doing things around the house, and in the yard.Buttons are easy to find and set up nicely. And the bluetooth stays connected even when I'm not right by my phone (within reason.)

Best bang for my dollar
I've owned mine since September 15, 2018, here it is February 28, 2020 and I couldn't be happier with the product. I have even encouraged others to purchase them.Cons:-Over the ear headphones can make you sweat.-With both ears covered, I can't hear anything else! Not sure this is a downfall but I am going to list it anyways.-Microphone could use some tweaking on the noise cancelling.-No app for controlling bass, treble, mid, etc.-USB micro charging. Would like to see USB-C charging.Pros:-Great battery life.-Great range, I can get over 30 feet with being around walls in other rooms (line of sight).-Sound is amazing.-Comfort is good except when it is hot outside.-No interference experienced unless more than 30+ feet away.-Long lasting and durable. Unless you are planning on sitting on these, the average user should find them satisfactory.I would buy another pair if this pair of headphones wasn't so durable. I may just to have a second pair around. Thank you for making such a quality product. I enjoy them very much.

Beware of this Headphone! Do NOT buy unless you intend to recycle it
This item worked for about 3 months at which point its 90 day warranty expired; when I contacted customer service, they told me they could not do any troubleshooting except plugging it in and out of the wall on different cables. They offered me 40% off a new pair, but I would never buy something from a company whose product was flawed to begin with. Even while it charged/worked, it would in the middle of use shout "BATTERY HIGH" without provocation.The biggest tip I can tell you is that the headphone comes SMELLING VERY INTENSE AND NOT IN A POSITIVE WAY. That smell has never gone away and it's something other users have complained about on these boards. Do NOT purchase this item.

Poor customer service and poor product design
I headphones came as described and initially performed good. After we had them for awhile, the rubber/foam earpads???? developed a terrible smell. We initially thought one of our dogs did something on the carpet in the bedroom, but after having the carpet cleaning company come to the house, they used black lights and there was not an animal issue. As they continued to investigate the smell, it turned out the terrible smell was coming from the headphones. An April 5, 2018, we emailed Modern Portable regarding the issue. They requested the headphones be returned, sent a prepaid USPS shipping label, and then verified the headphones were returned to them. Susan in an email, verified the return and offered a replacement headphones. That was on April 25, 2018. We have contacted via email to follow up numerous times, have been promised shipping tracking number, etc. but no headphones and no communication as of today, May 23, 2018. Extremely poor customer service after 1 1/2 months waiting for the promised replacement unit.
