Get the welded version
I bought the Bike Super Stand shortly after receiving the WillWorx Fat Bike Stand. I'm happy with the Fat Bike Stand but less happy with the Super Stand due to quality issues. The threaded inserts/bosses are not square to the mating surfaces. This was most significant on the short cross tube. After assembling all the pieces with the screws loose and the stand sitting on a flat work bench, I tightened all the screws. The poor fitting pieces caused the stand to distort to the extent that one leg lifted off the bench by almost an inch. I loosened the screws and the stand returned to being flat. I carefully snugged the screws and found the point where the leg was just starting to lift off the bench. The screws are snug, but far from being fully tight, and required re-snugging after using the stand a few times. I plan on bonding the pieces together to keep the unit from loosening up. My recommendation is to buy the welded version for a few bucks more. Also, be aware the stand came in a smooth, matte silver finish not the dark gray ripple finish shown on the web site. The Fat Bike stand came in the dark gray ripple finish. I am very happy with how well the stand performs in securing my mountain bike. It easily rolls in and out of the stand. My bike has 29 x 2.3 tires and I found that the 29er extensions I ordered with the stand are not required.

Fits 29 x 2.4” wheel
Does the job.Fits a 29er 2.4” tire easily. On a 2.5” Maxxis DHF there is friction, but it still works.Needed another bike stand and have the same model since ages. Not the very finest brand out there, but totally does the job. Peeled the sticker off. That looks not in place. May paint them down the road. Some screws/borings were a bit off place, but all worked to install and hey, it’s not a swiss watch.Tip: Don’t tighten the individual screws when assembling. Fit all of them and then tighten. Also: More stable than the stands that go through the axle of the crank, and way less fiddling than the ones that grab the bike by the hub.Bigger than the above mentioned systems.

great stand. bolts together
I bought two of these from REI but they were welded together, whereas this one had to be assembled with bolts/nuts. I was concerned that this would not be as rigid as the welded version, but it seems to be just as strong and working great so far. I now have four of them all bolted down at 45-degree angles to a 2'x8' sheet of treated plywood, making a great bike rack in the garage.

Item came defective. Note missing pushpin on right side.
Ordered two stands. Thought they were the same Superstand we ordered for our mountain bikes. These had to be screwed together. They are working well enough with our road bikes, but had to add foam pipe cover to each side. One of the two stands were defective. It was missing the tab that pushes in on one side to hold the top in place. See photo. Had to make shift a plastic dowel to hold it in place. The Superstand Extreme seems to be what we ordered before. They came in two pieces, popped together and are sturdier. Pretty much the same price. Should have read the description a little closer. Go for the Extreme if ordering.

Awesome, stable, & totally useful
These are great! Mine is for personal use (garage/workspace) and is super compact, low-profile, and stable. Way easier than hauling out the workstand for any/every adjustment, cleaning, etc. I saw these at Yuba Expeditions in Downieville, and they hooked me up with the manufacturer's name (Willworx).I use it with an enduro-size mountain bike (29" wheels with 2.4" tires)

Great stands. Flat pack with multiple parts requiring assembly as opposed to welded bases.
I ordered these, but they arrived late so I had to buy local. The stands that I buy locally have only two parts: a welded base and a long 'U' tube that holds the wheel. The upper U tube detaches with two spring loaded buttons. The stands that came from Amazon are flat packed and come in 6 different pieces and must be assembled with screws. It looks like these are functionally identical to the welded stands, which I really, really like. I now have four of the welded stands, two have the extensions to allow for 29" tires. I have had no trouble with alignment of the 'button's that hold the tops to the base. I really think that these are excellent stands. If you have a truck or van they can be used with tie downs to hold bikes upright during transport. One other thing. The finish on the welded stands is a silver/black mottled epoxy or powder coat. These stands are a single silver matte finish. To see the two tone finish look at the "Willworx 29er Extension Kit for Rack with Buttons: 2-Pack".It is really individual preference for both the finish and welded vs screw assembly types.

High Quality Product
Wherever tubes came together at a perpendicular angle the tube ends were notched. It not only looks goods but makes a stronger joint and makes the product easier to assemble. The bolt/screws all came long so there was no looking for the short screws like I've seen on other products. Using push in buttons on the vertical U section enables the stand to be partially disassembled for storage or transport. Awesome Product!

small footprint and works great
I saw the bike shop I go to using these, but they didn't sell them. They are super sweet! I got the extreme stand to accomodate my 29" tires. I can now store my bike without having to lean it against something!
