It would be even better if it weren't hollow. It might work on carpeted floors, but for my wood one...doesn't do the trick. I suppose expecting something fairly flimsy to keep out three rather large dogs is unrealistic, but I was hoping. Who knows, it might work under normal circumstances.

The side wall of the door stopper can be stronger. When using it on a heavy door, the side wall crushes. As such, you have to place it well. It still does the job.

I wanted them to be better...I needed the height, but they slide across our laminate. If they were made out of rubber or had rubber on the bottom that would be a vast improvement.

Do not Buy!!!I bought this because it was advertised as "heavy duty" and because it had lots of 5 star reviews. What a mistake. This door stop looks strong in the photo, but what you don't realize is that it is completely hollow in the middle and has no bottom. It is so flimsy that my door squashed it like a pancake (see picture).While this doorstop his high and would be good for doors that have large gaps below them, it would only work on the very lightest of doors. My apartment doors, both of which are only medium heavy, squashed this doorstop completely and rode right over it."Heavy Duty"? More like false advertising.

I have an abnormally large gap under my bathroom door, and this stopper does the job perfectly after I had to send back another doorstop that was laughably small. Not sure what I'll use the other stopper for, so I would have rather been able to buy just one, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it someday. Good to have a back-up anyway.

I feel like I got a different product than everyone else who wrote a review--?!I tried to use this to prop open an (admittedly) relatively heavy office door, and 1) It completely collapsed, as this is made of a flexible rubber rather than a solid, and 2) It slid along the commercial-grade carpeting, effectively rendering it completely useless.It was a complete failure of a door stopper for me.

The Door Stoppers were delivered very quickly. I am very happy with them, they are bigger and bulkier and fit under every door type, even if the door is slightly elevated, these door stoppers are great! Thank you!

Tall door stops but hallow. The doors just crush them flat.
