The adapter DOES fit inside, but it ain't pretty! The adapter will slightly disfigure the molded shape of the case. It is not MEANT to fit into the case with the radio. That said, mine is inside the case after much manipulation but I was careful to make sure the prongs of the adapter do not rub against the windows on the radio. I intend to get some sort of small drawstring bag to attach to the handle of the case (so it will not get misplaced) that will just fit the adapter. It's not fun to fuss so much to make it fit, and then worry about warping the [very nice] case. HTH **Q: Will this fit the kaito ka500l?** A: I would think so my voyager is a little over 8x5x2 Case is aprox 9x6x3 not sure of ka500l measurements... look on spec sheet to be sure **Q: Will this work for Kaito voyager pro ka600** A: It is possible that this would fit the 600 but it would be tight.
