Portable Wireless Speaker - Lepow Modre Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with High Def Sound Connects with iPhone, iPad, Samsung, and More (Green)

I give the Modre 5 stars because: it does a good job as a bluetooth speakerphone with my iPhone, improving a bit on the iPhone's capacity to do that job itself. I used it in my hotel room while it was charging. It was a couple of feet away from me as I worked and I could hear the other parties clearly and they could hear me. Then again at a meeting in an office when a speakerphone was needed impromptu, I whipped it out and there was no fuss, just performance.As an external bluetooth speaker it provides fine quality, for its size it's better than any of the other solutions I have purchased over the years. It's handy to have no cords. However, it is wonderful to have this wireless box for both my iPhone and laptop when I work around the office, and I have even used it in the car enjoyably.On another note, my son just picked it up and took it downstairs to see how far it could travel from my laptop and still pump out the music. It was impressive. He made it all the way downstairs to the other side of our house before losing the connection.

This little device gives me everything I've sought for a long time. You see, I'm a shower singer - with my music. I've done just about everything to get my music into that room! Way back in the iPod days, before music could be blasted out of my phone's speaker, I bought an aux portable speaker that took a 9v battery. It lasted MAYBE 6 showers before the battery would go. When I got my first smartphone, the speaker just wasn't loud enough to hear with the water running and over my pelting voice! For a long time, I left a speaker set in there, with an extension cord that led to the only socket. Yes, I did that. It was very unsightly. To be honest, I was a little concerned that this small speaker could be loud enough for a shower, but the reviews convinced me. Now, I don't have to worry about replacing the batteries all the time, or having a permanent eyesore in the bathroom. I don't even mind that my phone has to control it all - I'm used to that anyway. At least now the phone isn't hooked via an aux cable! The only negative thing I can say is that bass-heavy songs could in fact move the speaker even with that little ring on the bottom. (It was either the bass, or a poltergeist) either way, one minute I was singing tunes, and the next I heard a *thunk* as it hit the floor. Actually, had I not put the toilet seat down it would have ended up in there. Yikes! But hey, it was still playing music even though it was upside down on the floor - and was still loud enough to hear! Win freaking win.

I had previously purchased a Lepow Moonstone power bank and love it. I had been looking for an external speaker for my laptop and thought based on prior experiences with Lepow and the other reviews this would be a good choice. It was... but:1. My Modre arrived in the cup as pictured, but there was no lid. As a result the Modre and cords were not nicely packaged but scattered around in the box. I was a little disappointed as normally my Amazon purchases are well packaged, but the device seemed in good condition so I didn't send it back. Also though the idea of the device being packed in the reusable mug was cool, I probably would not have used the lid even if it was provided.2. Maybe because of the subpar packaging there were instructions, but mine did not come with any. If there had been instructions it would have taken me about 30 seconds to learn to use vs much longer as I searched the internet and played with the device. For example, I would have liked to know that you can not pair the device via bluetooth if you have the aux cable plugged in. Also that it does not pair (via bluetooth) with every device. For example it worked with my macbook but not my iphone 4, additional internet investigation led me to the Lepowglobal.com website which states it is compatible with iPhone 5+, not iPhone 4. I also could not pair with my older iPod Touch. Luckily I primarily bought it for my laptop, so again not a big issue, but I feel like this should have been clearer in the product description and product instructions. Also, It does come with an aux cable, so the device can be used for non-bluetooth devices or non-supported devices. Finally, the Modre's volume is controlled by my computer (or the source device), so if its too loud or soft I need to be near the laptop to adjust, again, I looked for a volume button and couldn't find one, whereas instructions would have saved me time.Despite the packaging, this is a great speaker. Sound is very clear. As always from Lepow, I love the flat cables. I also love the fun colors (I got apple green for the Modre and the Moonstone), but wish there were more options (my favorite color is purple).Though it may take a few minutes to get familiar with the device, it seems like it is exactly what I needed, and ultimately I am happy with my purchase.

Works fine but quality not great. The sound quality is not especially great, but for the price, it is okay....according to a teenager who uses it to share music with friends.UPDATE: My teenager told me yesterday (on the way out the door, over his shoulder, carrying this speaker) 'This is great!" When I asked why, he told me, "it is cool, the color is cool, the shape is modern, I just take it with me, it fits in my cup holder, I get to my friend's house and just set it on the table and it hooks up to my phone and we listen to music. I like it, it is cool to look at too.'When I asked about the sound (reply to customer question) he said, 'No, it isn't a great sound, but it is a good color and I just take it with me."So, I moved my stars up to 4 from 3. Any gift under $50.00 that a teenager still likes a few months after Christmas and actually comments on while heading off to hang with friends gets a high rating.... the sound is keeping it from 5 stars...although, I hear from reliable sources that the speaker capability for something that small is pretty tough in that price range, so all in all, I would highly recommend this for any teenager in your house.

Very disappointed, after reading the reviews I went for this speaker, but have to say the sound is not good at all, not much volume and distorts very badly, have returned for refund, perhaps I've just been unlucky.

Questo speaker è molto bello esteticamente anche se non molto potente, fa comunque il suo lavoro egregiamente. Se non volete una discoteca in casa compratelo!

Semplicemente stupendo non aggiungo altro non esiste oggetto migliore in questa categoria a questo prezzo poi lo consiglio a tutti

Hace ya un año que lo compré y va genial! El sonido no es la ostia pero la batería le dura varios días y se conecta muy bien por Bluetooth
