New Amsterdam: Season Two

Ryan Eggold is so charming. Fabulous and incredibly diverse cast with normal diseases and accidents happening to patients, not out-of-this-world stuff. Not a bad actor in the bunch.

I am now hooked on this show!

Love this show, got this to watch with my Mom.

I wasn’t expecting to love this series, but when my mother-in-law visited for several weeks I ordered this to watch in the evenings. Neither of us had watch this series, and I have say, we got hooked. We stayed up late almost every night after repeatedly saying “Just one more episode”. Great series.

Relaxing entertainment

The cast is AMAZING! It is so refreshing to see a show that has characters with class and depth. I love the stories and the show is very well made.

I love this show. I like that it is set in New York or seems to be. It has a diverse cast and it deals with real issues in a realistic way.

My UK R2 Dazzler release (EAN 5060352309928) has just arrived & YET AGAIN it doesn't come with subtitles even though the German R2 Universal release & the USA R1 Universal release do.If they're available why doesn't Dazzler include them? It's infuriating! £24.99 Dazzler copy is going back just bought it from Amazon.de (EAN 5053083222970) for less than £20 with subtitles. The cast of characters in the focus of the NA hospital series, are a group of likeable, dedicated and convincing doctors - the sort one would like to be “treated” by in an emergency !If you think they are too good to be true, you’re probably right. BUT bear in mind, its “informed” ENTERTAINMENT not the new gospel. I enjoy their company and here and there, a medical gem comes along and I am glad to have learned something!What more can you ask ?!

Received this last week. Not watched dvd yet but I have watched on Amazon Prime. Fantastic programme based on true events. It has out my faith back in human nature as the staff at this hospital are wonderful kind human beings. Brilliant.

Die Serie finde ich sehr gut und authentisch, sie spiegelt das unmenschliche Gesundheitssystem in den USA wieder.Das ein einzelner Arzt so heroisch dagegen ankämpfen kann ist zwar etwas überspitzt, aber dadurch wird gut unterhalten, und auch Spannung aufgebaut.Wer schon damals ER mit Begeisterung geschaut hat, für den ist New Amsterdam Pflicht.Da VOX mal wieder die Ausstrahlung mangels Sehbeteiligung abgebrochen hat (die kann heutzutage keiner mehr exakt messen !!) mußte ich für die restlichen 9 Folgen der 2. Staffel die ganze Staffel kaufen.Bei Amazon wären die Einzelfolgen teurer geworden....Vielleicht sollte Amazon mal seine Preispolitik bei bereits im Free-TV verwerteten Inhalten überdenken.
