For our first child we just picked up a mirror from Target which had a couple of straps and worked OK but we never loved it. We just had another child and the old mirror didn't work with the headrests in our new car, so we looked for a mirror with a different strap system to better hold it in place and landed on this. It is SUCH a great mirror. It is very large and very clear and with both a vertical and horizontal strap, its easy to get it to stay where we want it without worry of it sliding. Can't recommend this enough--it was even cheaper than the one we had gotten at Target!Edit: dropping this from 5 stars to 4 simply because the seller has continued to harass me via email with generic requests to post a review/rating, even after I had already done so. Love the mirror but I won't buy from this seller again.

This is the third baby mirror I've purchased in 9 months and its by far the best. The first one is in dad's car, the mirror part is fine but it constantly has to be readjusted because it keeps pointing down toward baby's feet (So Peep). The second one I bought is round, and a large area all the way around the edge of the mirror is so distorted that I can't see the baby well enough and is very frustrating... so its going back to the store (Diono). This one, by Baby Area is perfect! It has a wide angle so I can see more of what's going on, there is no distortion that impairs my view of baby, and the best part is the ball joint is very stiff so you can pull on it to get it to move, but the stiffness also means that it doesn't need readjusting after a couple of car trips. I would recommend this to anyone who asks, so happy with it.

I searched for a while on Amazon for a replacement mirror since I accidentally put my elbow thru the other one! I found this mirror to be the biggest in size, with the best reviews, and for the best price. I do see that the price has increased by $2 since I purchased mine, but it is definitely a nice mirror with an excellent view. It was easy to install with 4 straps going north to south and east to west, all adjustable. My only complaint is that on the slide plate where the swivel ball on the mirror slides onto the headrest, there is a plastic tab you need to lift. Well it broke off while trying to lift it! I was still able to install the mirror, and it stays in place. Overall I am happy, and it's a quality mirror.I paid full price for the mirror and did not get it free or discounted.

My husband and I absolutely love this mirror!!! it's really big so we are both able to see our son in the backseat and our son can look into the mirror and see himself which he just giggled that all the time!The straps fit to our cars seat nicely even though our head rest does not adjust, so we turned the strap Frame to angle it like X shape to strap it to the car, instead of the Cross/T Shape, which totally works great!!We Highly recommended this product! No matter what the back head-rest of your car is like you'll be able to attach it also we are buying it for all of our friends were having kids! And all the grandparents!!!

I was very impressed with the follow up from this company to ensure customer satisfaction. I had some issues installing based on the way my rear center headrest is made. They communicated with me and offered me a refund if I couldn't make it work. Fortunately, I was able to work it out and am very happy with it. I like the reassurance of being able to see if my grandson is just fussing or having a real issue; if he's quietly napping or in distress. I can see him in my rear-view mirror and he can see himself in the baby mirror as well. It's been great so far. I'm thinking of getting one for my son and daughter-in-law's car as well.

I have tried several other baby mirrors from my local big box store and none of them quite worked with the headrest in my SUV. I finally ended up using my older daughters ear muffs to adjust our other mirror just so I could see my newborn son. UNTIL I found Baby ARea mirror on Amazon! This mirror is great! It secures easily and snugly to my headrest and tilts in any direction I need. Not only can I see my son clearly, but he can also see himself and loves to smile at his reflection! This is my favorite mirror on the market and I would recommend it to anyone!

I bought this for my son to put in his van, so when he has the baby with him it would make it easierto keep an eye on her. He called me the next day and told me how much he likes the mirror, he saidit makes it so much easier to see her and what she's doing and peace of mind that she is okay and its muchsafer than reaching his one arm while he is driving to reach back to make sure she is okay. The size makes iteasy to see her and for her to see herself in the mirror also

Our mirror made an annoying rattling sound as we drove. The part that connects to the back of the mirror was not tight so any bump along the road caused it to rattle around. I fixed it by putting part of a cotton ball between the two pieces to make it tighter and now the noise is gone. However I feel the design was poor because it allowed for that loud noise. So I couldn't give it a very positive review.Other than that issue, we are very happy with the mirror and appreciate how large it is and easy to adjust the angle if needed.
