Does the money box have a plug to release the money or is it a permanent hold that would need breaking to release the money?

It has a rubber plug on its stomach that releases the money.

How do you release the plug from the bottom? We are struggling

I think its just really stiff at first. Its flexible, I pushed it inside the money pig and then removed it
