Totally waste of money
I hope you read this before you buy,, DON'T!!These are worthless they do not work, they flicker and very dim, in both LED and CFL. Totally waste of money. Maybe they work with incandescent lights not sure I got rid of all of my incandescents.They need to reported to Amazon.. Lots of crap from China lately on this site.

Not for use with anythig other than incandescent bulbs
Fixtures are rather large and need a large light fixture to use with. Attempted to use CFL bulbs with them and only got flicker with this type of bulb. Switched to incandescent (lower wattage) and they still flicker on startup but settle down once warm. They do go on and off at low light and dawn and I nstalled three which go on and off at about the same time so the sensor is similar in each.Will purchase a light fixture with built in sensor in the future but these do work for the previous month.

It kills CFL bulbs quickly. Only LED can survive.
When the sky just becomes dusk or dawn, it triggered ON or Off to the bulb. But it doesn't turn on/turn off totally. It turn on/off partially. The bulb light is just flickering. If you put a CFL bulb on, it will be killed quickly. So I changed to LED. It is still alive. But the flickering is still there. I don't know how bad it is to the LED bulb.This idea is good. But this product just missed a logic or a control part in it. It should wait until the gray zone passed, then turn on/off the light.Another issue is that if you have a white light shade, the reflecting light will fool the sensor and make the bulb ON/Off continuously.

Poor construction and doesn't work with CFLs.
Very disappointed and returned the item. It didn't work with CFLs (flickered) and I wasn't impressed with the quality of construction. Seems it's very difficult to get a dawn-to-dusk sensor that works well. We tried two versions from a local store and neither worked. Were hoping this one would do the job, but no.

Works Great!
Just what we needed. It comes on at dusk and goes off when it gets daylight. Very helpful when we come back home after dark.

do not waste your money
sensor does not live up to its potential. Has no sensitivity to true light, it was reacting to light color siding, not responding at dawn... not worth the money
