I bought this collar from you and it fell apart at the screws with the plastic breaking off and you kindly sent me a replacement. I have been happy with this collar until last night. I was driving on the interstate with my dog and he had the collar on. All of sudden out of NOWHERE the collar began to spray my dog spray after spray after spray. He became anxious and frightened. I was driving 70 mph on the interstate and the collar continued to BLAST my dog to the point where he leaped into my lap and I almost wrecked. It was all I could do to get it off his neck to relieve him while he shook uncontrollably and he knows how the collar works so he felt attacked. It sprayed him burst after burst after burst as he clamored into my lap while Im driving. He weighs 35 pounds. I almost wrecked trying to comfort him and rip the collar from his neck. I finally got it off with one hand while driving and threw it on the floor. After that he shook uncontrollably for 2 hours it frightened him so badly. He then sqeezed himself between my left leg and the car door and buried his face in my armpit shaking for 2 hours. I pulled over and tried to comfort him then continued on our journey and he still insisted on squeezing himself next to me in the drivers seat until we reached our destination. I am so afraid to use your product ever again. And this is a very high price item as well. I can find similar collars for $30. I selected yours because I felt due to quality and price it would be a better collar. It is not.DO NOT BUY THIS COLLAR!! it is malfunctions and has inferior workmanship. The plastic breaks at the screws leaving it vulnerable to breakage rendering it useless. And now that my dog was attacked by burst after burst after burst when he didn't so much as sigh!!! This product needs to be taken off the market!!!

Not impressed so far…The indicator lights do not seem to behave as described in the manual – after filling and charging we get a single green flash about every five seconds. The manual says it should be a red flash and doesn't mention a green flash every few seconds. So I'm not really sure what the collar is trying to tell me. But since green seems like a reasonable color for a "ready to go" flash and since folks have said that the instructions are not the best we decided to put it on our dog (a standard poodle) and give it a try.As far as I can tell it is not working – dog barks and there is no spray or any other indication that the collar is working (it would be really nice if there was a test function and also a "bark detected" function so that you could tell if there were signs if intelligent life in the collar). We've tried repositioning the collar, refilling it, charging the battery again, power cycling it, and changing the spray mode. It's hard to know what we should do because the manual contradicts itself.As others have pointed out, there is a plug blocking access to the USB charging port when you get the unit. The plug is tiny and does not have a keeper – I'm not sure what the point of the plug is, the instructions do not mention it. It seems like it should go back in to keep moisture and dirt out of the electronics – especially if you have dogs who go outside, but it is quite tiny and tedious to install and remove.The feature set looks good in the description: rechargeable, corrects on the second bark within 10 seconds, adjustable correction level. However, the actual product doesn't warrant more than 3 stars (if it worked) due to very unclear instructions with no troubleshooting section, no contact information for product support, undocumented behavior, and the poor design of the charging port. Since it also doesn't work for us, one star.

The short version is that this has worked well as a deterrent to barking. The device, itself, is robust with regular use, and has performed well for several months.We are using this with our pit bull, who likes to bark at people walking by our fence. It works as I had hoped. When she barks, it sprays, and she is disinclined to bark again. She will occasionally whine about not being able to bark, and that has resulted in a spray a few times (but not always). With our encouragement, she now often runs to the back door rather than to the fence when someone walks by. Since the device is activated by sound, it will also go off if our dog shakes while wearing it. She quickly learned not to do that, and it doesn't seem to cause her any anxiety. (We don't leave the collar on for extended periods of time, as that would result in some stress.)At our rate of use, it took several months before the battery needed recharging. That part worked well, too, and I much prefer it to buying a new battery every time.In the end, I suspect success depends on expectations, the owner's use of training, and the dog. For us, it worked well.

I have two other bark collars that require a battery. The problem with this is, I never knew when the battery was dead and the batteries could not be bought locally. I have tried this collar out on my dog and my neighbor's barking dog. This collar works great. It is simple to use, easy to recharge, I just love it. My dog doesn't bark while wearing it and the neighbor is going to buy one. One thing, it is sold as sized for a small to medium dog. My dog weighs about 15 lbs, it is OK on him. The neighbor's dog is a German Shepard mix, not on the large size. It fits him, with about two notches left on the collar. He might weight 50 lbs, not certain. Anyway, this is a great product and I will be buying this again, as a replacement for the battery collars.

I love the fact that it is rechargeable. I'm not convinced so much on the ease of use. Which light sequence means what, citronella seems to go quick. I'm not giving up...as far as effectiveness...5✨. My boxer worn it one night while outside. Now when visitors arrives he just puts his hair up. The hounds setter....ehhh, a bit more work for him.
