Lisle 38700 Spindle Snap Ring Pliers Ford SD

These snap ring pliers reach in around the spindle to take the snap ring off and lock in the appropriate position to remove the snap ring making the job much easier.

Got these after other ones I got bent. These are well built and the pins are very strong. Must have for 11+ superdutys

If you own Ford and you work on your own truck, this is an absolute must have took a whole six seconds to take the snaprings off the front axle

First set of super duty hubs, start tearing into it, I see a snap ring, no biggie right? Snap! Wrong! There goes my snap ring pliers. That snap ring is one tough customer, it's very stiff. I found a big set of snap ring pliers at the hardware store, I had to modify them slightly, even then, they kept popping off. I got this set before I did the other side, it seriously was like working on a different truck, the pliers are curved/shaped to fit around the shaft, the locking function holds it open, it's night and day different. Lisle for the win (again) on this set!

The Pliers worked great once i modified it. I had to file down the inner edges so the two tips were able to fit in the holes in the snap ring.

Good luck changing wheel bearings in 11-16 F250 without this tool. Worth every penny
