Acorn Original Men's and Women's Slipper Sock with Cloud-Like Feel, Soft and Moisture Wicking Crew Length, Genuine Suede Sole

Purchased for my autistic son - with narrow feet, one flat foot - to wear around the house since he perpetually wears holes in the ball (bottom front) of every one of his socks. In his limited vocabulary, he says "It's nice". Cushiony on the inside, thick sock on the outside. The second day he had them, we went to run some errands after it had rained, and noticed when we arrived at our destination that he had not removed them and had not put on regular shoes. He walked on wet pavement, avoiding puddles, but the water soaked right through the soles, soaking the inner padding! Although I know you're not supposed to get these wet, I did what I knew how to at the time: I took a hair dryer to the inside pad and the outside sole. The insides dried in under 10 minutes with a hair dryer, the outside dried overnight near a heat vent. They came out decent and usable (photos above).

I wear these everyday. They keep my feet warm and feeling comfy. I can drive with them on, hop out of the car, pay for gas, smokes and a slushy. Pump my gas, get back in car and continue on my way. They're footwear that I never need to take off. Except to throw in the wash. In which I have a second pair to wear. I wear em all day and to bed. Only off to shower and when I have a be outside during the rain and snow. But live in an ar a that doesn't get a lot of snow so..... I'm wearing them now. Love em!!!!

These were extremely large. I followed the sizing chart and they were over an inch too long. I didn't keep them very long but they were not as thick and as insulating as I was hoping for.

I did not like the narrow foot bed or the fact that the sock portion came up to just below my knee, not mid calf as advertised. The socks were not easy to put on or take off. I bought these to replace my LL Bean Rag wool slipper socks (which unfortunately, are no longer available) that I have had for 20 years and what I got from Akorn was a poorly designed substitute. I would not buy these slipper socks again or recommend them.

Needed to replace some older ones from a different company and found these and they looked good.What I like - the footbed is nice and fits well. Color is nice. Seem reasonably well made.What doesn't work for me - the sock portion is too high and much too tight (and this is XL and my calves are toned but not unusually large) and these go up all the way to the largest part of the calf.Probably nice if you like tight things keeping your calves warm or have slender ankles/calves

I didn't like the nearly slick soles, which get very little traction on slippery surfaces!

We love these slipper socks (have a pair a few years old) but have ordered medium (size 8) sized socks twice, and twice have been sent a size 5-6. It's too bad, we were looking forward to them

With other slip on slippers one tends to adjust ones gait depending on the snugness or looseness of the slipper. With these slippers you walk properly because they are so fitted, so if you have knee or hip issues this is a great choice!

I love everything About these slippers. They were a bit difficult to get off and on the first time but adjusted perfectly after that. They are warm without making my feet too warm and I love the way they look. I would highly recommend them.
