Whether you are a fan of Sesame Street or just wanna teach your kids theA-B-C's and 1,2,3's...Songs From The Street: 35 Years of Music is a fantastic CD.Songs like "The Pin Ball Number Count", which teaches how to count to twelve while using a fast upbeat rhythm, and "Ladybug's Picnic" which also teaches to count to twelve using a fast upbeat rhythm. Then there are songs that teach about numbers like "I've Got Five People In My Family", which teaches about the number five and teaches about family members, and "I'v Got Two" which teaches about the number two and about body parts (two eyes, two ears, two arms, etc.)My Favorite songs are the nonsense songs like "Rubber Duckie" and "What's The Name Of That Song" which taught me to LOVE music. This CD is educational and fun to listen to. Parents can reminscence about the songs they grew up with and teach their kids their A-B-C's and 1,2,3's and teach other things like "Everybody Sleeps".

Pure Sesame Street
I have a baby granddaughter and wanted her to have the Sesame Street experience. This cd set includes music from the first 35 years of Sesame Street. If you have had children or were a child in that time frame, then you know these songs. I love the newer Sesame Street, but sometimes miss the slower, sometimes more simple Sesame Street of the past. These songs encompass the older and the newer styles, along with special guests from the past. We have been really enjoying these songs with our sweet baby.

My 14 yr old son has autism. He saw this at a local used book/music store and obsessed over it. He said it "brings back memories" I hope we get some together time with it. We really did love Sesame Street as he grew up- and now he is in to many of the artists- James Taylor, Justin Timberlake, etc.- featured on this. I am excited!

Great for Old and New Fans Alike
Whether you're a small child or an adult who grew up on Sesame Street, there's something for everyone here. It's a very healthy blend of classic songs for the nostalgic along with newer, but still well made, songs for the little ones. As a child of the 1980s I prefer the older songs, but I know that's nostalgia talking and the newer ones are just as charming for those hearing them for the first time.

I love the cd...it has all the sesame street songs on it. I originally bought it for my children's sesame street birthday party but I ended up listening to it in the car everyday. My friend borrowed my car one day and I forgot I had the cd playing for myself. Next thing you know my friend wanted to know where she could get a copy..LOL! She is a huge fan of the show herself.

I bought it for our 20 month old daughter. My wife and I wanted her to be introduced to classic Sesame Street songs. She loves it! She asks to play it on the home stereo and in the car.

2 out of 3 isn't bad
I got this for my 3-year old daughter for Christmas, but the whole family listens to it in the car on long trips. Although we all enjoy the first 2 CDs, the 3rd CD has songs from more "contemporary" bands from almost a decade ago. While my wife and I grumble about it, our daughter loudly protests the majority of songs on the 3rd CD. If you're not into the bands listed on CD 3, consider if it's worth buying for the price.

Great for All Ages
We have had this collection of Sesame Street songs for a few years now. Our little family of four all loves it. The songs are wonderful to sing along to and it is nice to revisit my own childhood with "Ladybug Picnic" and the like. We have played this set more than any other children CDs we have had. I am sure I will play it long after our kids are no longer interested...

Worth a trip down memory lane
The coverage of the past series songs are good and generally the production is good. Some of the reproduction quality is old but this is to be expected and does not detract from the content.

Sesame Street Collection - 2 CDs super, 1 CD ganz gut
