## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you store plantain? I don't want them to ripen too quickly. Thanks**
A: Hello there several ways...depending on what you are cooking you could start the cooking process and then freeze them. I;É fried plantains, mashed plantains...

But to keep them green I usually keep them out for like a day or two then put them in the fridge to shock them and then leave them out again. But which/however you decide to go just know you prolly have a maximum time of maybe a week. Before the start to begin ripening or worst going black and damaging. Good luck! Also know that these came with the stem part clipped which already makes it harder to keep for longer

**Q: Are these fresh and large sizes?**
A: Yes fresh but Medium/ small in size

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely and green
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 March 2025*

Though they were priced rather high, I am just grateful that these are even available through Amazon, as I am unable to shop for them on foot. They were very green – just as I'd hoped – and they've made a lot of lovely tostones – some of which I have frozen. But once they're all gone, I will be back here!

Ordered these to see if they could replace previous supplier for making fufu. Attentive seller who resolved queries. The last delivery sent to me were lovely green and good quality. Recommended for fufu, dodo, porridge, chips...
