Very Pleased With Govee Sensors
I have ordered multiple Govee temperature-humidity sensors. I have three each of models H5075 (Bluetooth only with data display), H5051 (WiFi and Bluetooth with data display), and H5053 (older WiFi version with hub, no data display, but weather resistant). I also have one model H5179 (WiFi and Bluetooth with no data display).First, I would like to say that I was surprised and pleased by the accuracy (or, more precisely, the repeatability) of the data with these units. Before deploying them to their final locations, I lined them up next to each other to see how well they agreed on the temperature and humidity. They did so to within the specified accuracy, so I trust the specifications. (By contrast, when I have looked at racks of thermometers in stores, all in the same place, I have been struck by the wide range of readings, including some wild outliers.)I wanted to use one sensor outside. Models H5051 and H5075 clearly would not stand up to rain; I hoped that perhaps model H5179, which looked pretty well sealed, would. It did not; it died after the first heavy rain and never recovered. Govee does not claim that it can be exposed to rain, so I do not blame them. I report the fact here in order to save others from wasting their money on an unsuccessful experiment.Eventually I found on Amazon the older (obsolete?) model H5053 set. It is advertised as weather-resistant. I asked Govee about it, and they advised not exposing it directly to rain. I mounted it under a porch, near the outside but not directly exposed to rain. It has been running nicely for more than a month. In the end, I also ordered an Ambient weather station, whose temperature-humitidy sensor does work with direct exposure to the elements. If you do not need to access the data when far from the sensors, the model H5075 units are to be preferred. They are much cheaper than the H5051 units with WiFi support. The Bluetooth-only units work very nicely in my home and on my phone when I am at home.I do wish that one had the option to display dewpoint temperature instead of or in addition to relative humidity. The firmware in the units probably cannot be updated, but the phone app could be improved to offer this option.I cannot comment on battery life, as I have not had the units long enough. Also, I do not use Alexa. One final comment. As others have reported, getting the units set up and configured is sometimes not as straightforward as one would like. I recommend patience and persistence. Sometimes initial attempts failed, but in the end all the units got connected.

My 1st Govee product
The setup of the Wi-Fi bridge was pretty easy and straight forward almost like any other device you might be adding to to your Wi-Fi network.I put 1 sensor in my Greenhouse about 100 ft outside in my backyard. I was concerned that it would not see the bridge but there is absolutely no issue. The reading seems to be very accurate and I really like how the alert shows up as a notification on my phone. The 2nd sensor is in my basement as we had some dampness from a recent rain storm. I also just installed a dehumidifier today and the sensor is doing a great job and informing me of the humidity level and it's great to see my new dehumidifier is working. The 3rd sensor is in a family room on the 3rd floor of my 1908 house. This will come in handy to allow me to remotely monitor the temperature and allow me to remotely turn on my mini split HVAC system for this floor to heat or cool the room to my desired temperature. The only drawback I've run in to is I cannot get it linked with my Google Home app (speakers or hub) when trying to add it to Google it informs you to log in to the Govee Home account and authorize Google to control the app. I've looked through the entire app and there is no such settings. I cannot log in to it in the website to authorize it either. It does appear to easily link with Amazon Alexa though so if you have Alexa you should be alright to link. The units can be calibrated through the app. I found one of my units seemed to be running a bit warmer than actual room temperature and was easily able to adjust the unit closer to the actual room temperature of another thermometer that I had in the room. (2nd thermometer is not wireless but just a digital read out & is closely matched to the temperature of my mini split HVAC system)Overall I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it if you are looking to remotely monitor humidity or temperatures.

Worked fine for a while, then all sensors "Malfunction" and support can't figure it out
Had a set of these monitoring a remote location. Acceptable if you need alerts and monitoring - but its silly that Govee sells smart outlets and other switches but you can't contol them with this - ie, I want a smart outlet to turn on when the temp gets to 80 degrees to control a fan. Nope, can't do it.(btw, temp sensors are not in the IFTTT integration like the LEDs are)Worked good for 10 months then all 3 sensors show "MALFUNCTION" on the app. Tried everything I could - delete sensors, repair, reattach to wifi, etc...Contact support and they sent a replacement out - that pack worked fine for 3 hours then went into the same malfunction mode.Tried different networks, deleting, readding - like some other reviews here, it just won't work for me. Unsure if its the app or connectivity to their monitoring service but they wouldn't give me any troubleshooting steps to figure it out..My last email to them was asking for an update - to which they said it is now a year past the purchase date and they can't offer support - even though I started the support thread with them well before the year was up. Pretty disappointed.
