Junk
I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this is bad enough that I thought I should let others know. First off, the packaging sucks. They used some sort of heat shrink wrap to hold all the components to a piece of cardboard. The problem with it is the shrink wrap stuck to all the parts. I spent 15 minutes trying to scrape off the melted plastic, but got frustrated and mounted it with bits of plastic still fused to it. When it came time to mount the clamps to the roll cage, I realized the screws are too short. I was only able to get about two threads started on each screw. They should have drilled the holes all the way through the clamp so they could use longer screws. I was able to get it mounted anyway and hoped for the best. I backed it out of the garage and headed up the driveway and the mirror glass (plastic?) popped out of the housing and landed on the floor board. Turns out it's held in with double sided tape. If I had to come up with a positive, I'd say the clamps look nice with the flat black anodizing. FYI I had this on a Honda Pioneer 1000-5.

Believe the negative reviews - don't waste your money.
I bought this mirror to save a few dollars. It wasn't worth it. I usually filter out the handful of negative reviews on a product, but in this case - believe them. First, this is the worst packaging I have EVER seen. It was like the plastic was glued to the mirror. I spent over 20 minutes picking plastic from the mirror and wasn't even half way done. I then noticed that part of the reflective coating was missing behind the glass. It was obviously a manufacturing defect, yet it was still shipped this way. A friend of mine had a mirror that looked just like this one, but was made by another company. I quickly realized that while this was a copy, the quality wasn't even close. I showed it to him and he said it was way lighter and not as well made. Rather than picking the rest of the plastic off and dealing with the defective mirror, I just dropped it in the box and paid the extra money for a higher quality mirror.

Nice mirror, many issues to address....
The reviews are true. Within two days of installing, the mirror began to separate from the frame, and there was the dreaded 'double-sided' tape. Using tape to hold a mirror together is a major design flaw!!! I like the sporty look of the mirror enough that I repaired it, but after the consumer spends the money and waits for it to get there, then have to spend more money to fix it right away.... see where i'm going? Now, the reviews about the packaging are also true. The mirror appeared to have been placed on a piece of cardboard, then a sheet of plastic was melted over the mirror. I had to exersize extreme patience in getting the plastic off of the mirror when unpacking. If you are not careful, the mirror could be further damaged. In other words, if you get in a hurry you could tear up the mirror just taking it out of the package. I gave 3 stars for good looks and ease of installation. The packaging issue needs fixed, and for crying out loud... a few decent drops of glue is much better than double-sided tape!!!!

It is horrible double sided tape
I thought I would try this mirror again. I never got to use it once. The glass vibrated off while I was towing to desert. When I got in it I noticed it had fell off and broke. Bummed obviously. So I thought hey I'll try it again. So I got my new one installed it. The next day the glass was only stuck on one side. So I slowly pulled off the glass mirror. It is horrible double sided tape. Now I'm trying to find a way to make it stick. I just tried 3m double strength tape. It doesn't stick to back of mirror because it's too smooth. Now I'm going to try spray adhesive and tape. So I will spend more on trying to make the mirror stick than the whole unit costs. This is a bad product. I would advise not to buy. I never received a refund either. 2 times same thing.

Not well engineered
I was out riding today in my RZR 1K four seater when the mirror portion of flew off the mirror assembly it self. Luckily caught it before it flew off onto the road. It looked well assembled but the only thing holding the plastic mirror itself was two sided tap that didn't hold very well. I would look at other mirrors that are better engineered to hold up the strong wind pressure. Great price, but you get what you paid for.

Great buy!
PERFECT find for our 2017 Polaris RZR 900S! Great size, NO you will not be banging your head off of it! We ride in groups sometimes, and this makes it so great to just look up and check on your buddy behind you without whackin' your helmet off the seat by turning your head. Plus, great to see when theres somebody coming up behind you,...ya know...in case you also enjoy a little adult beverage while riding, says a friend of a friend,....=-)

it is a fantastic unit once you get it in place
Kind of a pain to get mounted, needed an extra set of hands to get it where it belonged. That being said, it is a fantastic unit once you get it in place. Not to mention the price point. Seriously, why are the "big name guys" getting $300+ for a mirror that has no powered/dimming/dvr functions?? Highly recommend this mirror if functionality and style are more important to you than bragging about a name brand piece! First ride with it I had 2 or 3 folks approach me asking about it, and they were sick in the stomach when I told them all the more I paid for it! No rattles either!

Honda Pioneer 1000
I have the new Honda Pioneer 1000 with a glass windshield, the brackets for the mirror are a very tight fit between the roll bar and windshield. Just use a long handled Allen wrench and it will go with some patience. Great looking mirror, nice wide angle.
