The Big Poster Book of Hindu Deities: 12 Removable Prints Poster – August 3, 2011

Adorable! I framed three of these and they make a perfect addition for my nursery. Be waned they are an odd size. I was able to fit them into an 11 x 14 opening, but it did mean I had to cover up some small pieces of the image which is closer to 12 x 15. I think it might fit better into an Ikea Ribba frame, but didn't have time to get those before the nursery needed to be done. Regardless, I love them and have already gotten a ton of compliments!

my kids love these posters and it is a great way to adorn their rooms. The posters have a fresh contemporary look and are very cute. Will recommend these to others too! The back side has pencil sketches and I loved them equally, may be we will turn them over later some day.

I'm teaching Hindu mythology to my 2G students.To say they are in love with these pictures is an understatement. My students pour over them and copy them incessantly.My literacy / art collaboration produced shockingly good art from my 7- and 8-year-olds.Suggestion for teachers: laminate these posters! While my students treated them with near-reverence, I could see problems if used year after year (as I intend to do).

A lovely collection of poster-size illustrations of the Hindu deities. I gave it as a gift to a yoga teacher who plans to use the posters in her teaching. She is also sharing it with her 2-year-old, who recognized Ganesha right away! The illustrations are very contemporary and Pixar-ish, but they also contain traditional elements that link them to older representations of the Hindu deities. It is a beautiful and informative book.

I got into Ganesh after I had a spurt of good luck recently and I saw my friend had this on his coffee table. I said, "Im taking Ganesh". But it was gone. He said he uses this book as gifts (frames the posters and gives them away). I think that is a great idea. I currently have 3 posters up. LOVE these illustrations.

We bought this to decorate our nursery. Bright beautiful and creative photos. Fits an Ikea frame perfectly. Highly recommend!

I saw these in San Francisco, in the chronicle book store. Forget to purchase them, looked them up on amazon and they were priced much cheaper. I love the prints, they are sturdy and look great in a frame. Such a low cost for beautiful designs. I think he is coming out with a children's book soon too.

I bought this book for my kids to introduce & teach them about the different Hindu Gods/Goddesses, and they absolutely love it. You don't have to be a Hindu to enjoy the stories and the drawings. Sanjay has done a great job to make it easy for everyone to understand and enjoy.

Most creative and beautiful art work. They were also of the exact size that I wanted.Hats off to the artist and the print work!

The artist has made the major deities of the Hindu Pantheon very actual and very attractive. Great inspirational artwork and insightful captions.
