So easy to use and worked amazing! Ok me and my husband 10 minutes to put them on, load the kayaks and strap them down. They never moved and we got to take them off when we were done. Love it!!!

I bought this for a 10 foot kayak to put on top of my SUV that has a moonroof that takes up almost the entire roof. It’s really easy to install and I genuinely like the products with two suggestions. I have a Nissan rogue 2015 SL and the sunroof goes to almost the front of the car where the hood starts to slant down. To avoid putting any pressure on the sunroom if I have to put the pad in front of it which puts it on an angle and doesn’t really support the front of the kayak. After some trial and error I think I’m going to have to get a thick foam block for the front but the back works fine. I wish these pads were just a little bit thicker. The other suggestion is the trunk loop to attach the bow and stern has very light rubber. When I try to shut it at the front of the vehicle to tie down the bow it pops right out. I have a bug shield attached to my hood which may be causing the issue but I wish the rubber on the bow and stern line was much thicker or even a hard material so that it wouldn’t pop out of my hood. I really can’t use them for my vehicle so I’ve got a find a different way to secure the front and the back but other than that these are a decent product and would work much better top of your vehicle is relatively flat.

This was better than advertised. The package came complete with a bag to stow everything when not in use. I was especially impressed with the hood attachment for the guide ropes to hold the front of the kayak down. Great product worked exceedingly well. Highly recommended. Just had to use a bungee cord for the back of the kayak to keep it from slipping forward in case of a hard brake situation.

I drive a small car (Ford Fiesta). These straps and pads take me 5 minutes to install and securely hold a small kayak. I haven't used them for long distances, but for what I need, this was a great purchase.

Product was easy to use. I used my own ratchet straps to strap it down, I would not trust the ones that come with it. Noticed a couple of scratches on my roof. Will be returning.

This product comes ready to use. It has fully functional storage bag. Takes me 15 minutes from start to finish to setup straps on car, load board then tie done straps. Product’s design protect car from scratches when syncing down. Product non slip surface works at 75 mph with no wobble. Really like the “loop” that you thread top rope trough on final side of syncing down. Maximum “snugness” for board to pad and eliminates “strap vibration” noise when driving at high speeds. Using my board more bc of this product!!! Side note: I was still using my 20 years ago style (foam pad and four old school tie down straps) before I got this product. No more pulling into rest area every 30 miles to check if board is still on car 😂😂😂👌👌

The HEYTRIP soft roof rack worked perfectly. The two sections were easy to install. The front and rear straps worked perfectly on our Ford Flex and prevented front to rear movement or frint lift. The soft roof rack supported our kayak, without damaging the roof, at highway speeds between Phoenix and Lake Havasu City. A couple of suggestions. 1. Before installing these on the car, lay them out on the car, put the kayak, paddleboard, etc. in them and determine the best routing for the tie down straps. Route these straps before installing the roof racks onto the vehicle. 2. All straps and tie downs had a slight stretch to them. I suggest that after install and loaded, you drive 20-25 miles, and retightened. If you are traveling at highway speeds, do this a 2nd time about 50 miles after the first retightening. These are a great value!

possibly could have been £20 cheaper but it's a quality product that works well. i hauled an 18kg kayak onto a zafira for a 1.5 hour journey, and back again, and there was some noise from the ribbon cable at speed but it never fell off. so much better that screwing together metal bars on your roof! could have done without the garish product labelling but it works well anyway. recommended.

They work really well and allows us to transport our kayak around. The pads seem really sturdy and easily held our 2 man kayak. The first time we put it on the car was a bit of trial and error and took a bit of time but now we know what we are doing they are really easy to install. The packs contain everything needed to secure kayaks onto the pads and they seemed very secure on 30 minute car journeys, although I'm not sure I'd be comfortable doing a long drive. I put them on my Mini Countryman and they fitted fine, the straps can be adjusted to fit larger or smaller cars. I've taken them off the car when not using them and have had no issues of them leaving any marks on the car. They are a really good reasonably priced option if you occasionally would use roof bars but not enough to justify the cost of permanent ones
