These are absolutely the best bypass pruners I have used. I actually bought these as a gift for my wife along with their ratchet pruner and their cut and hold pruner (which are great as well). They are really light weight and cut beautifully. The best parts for me are actually the grip and feel of the tool and the lock. You just squeeze and it unlocks and the lock won't relock by accident (does that make sense?) like other pruners. Like I said I bought these for my wife who is 5' tall and has small hands. She loves loves them! We will be getting another pair as I am always taking hers now! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased these pruners (two pair)--one for me and one pair as a gift. Both pruners lock closed but we haven't figured out how to use as a By-Pass pruner. Maybe it's us, or maybe the tool shouldn't be called a by-pass pruner.

Beautifully made tool, seems like it will last through the tough use it will get, worth the price. Perfect size for my hands. After its first use it was pretty gummy from plant resins but then a quick hose rinse and towel dry - looks new again. Nice and sharp, too. Locking/unlocking mechanism works easily on the fly with just a squeeze or flip of the thumb.

Not bought at Amazon, bought at Wildflower site for $34! We have most of the womens tools from the site. We have been using tools from this company for 10 years+. We love all of the tools we have purchased. We have given the pruners to many friends and family- they love them , too.Sorry Amazon is charging $10 more!
