Just what was needed!
This is a great idea works really well bought it as i tried everything to get burn marks off sole plate of ironirons better than before goes over buttons! would recommend

Fits well and stays in place
Bought similar cheap one elsewhere that pinged off while using, so was wary of trying this, but it’s great! Recommended.

Difficulty in making it fit
It was hard to stretch it over my large iron I can see the general idea is very good but it’s to fiddly good value for money I might use it to iron my knitting

had1 in use for 10yrs. this 1 quite thin, make sure it covers all the iron plate or damage to cloths may happen.

I have yet to try this out on all garments and it didn't fit my old iron so cant give it 5 stars. The reason it didn't fit my old iron was because the back of the iron space wasn't wide enough to allow the spring wire to hold on. I think it would be fine for most irons. However it glides really smoothly. MY old iron was very old and the plate was always sticking. I have bought a new one and this cover fits just fine so will be keeping it. I think its a really good buy and will be using it on jumpers and garments that if at wrong temperature would cause sticking.
