I was looking for a laser thermometer at a reasonable price. This was the best deal I could find, without ordering one directly from China. I can't speak to the accuracy of the device, as I haven't tested it. The accuracy is listed as +-1.5 C which is +-1.8 F. Using my engineering sense, I'd imagine the device easily falls within that range.I am using it for less than scientific purposes. I want to be able to check my pizza stone before I throw pizza on. It works good for frying pans as well. The temperature range goes up to about 626F, so that provides a good range. I moved into an old house with drafty old windows and doors. I used this as a rough guide to see which the worst culprits were, and where to prioritize insulating during the brief time before winter.And most importantly, this device also functions as a cat toy. She loves chasing the laser. Once she hears the beep when it turns on, she begins her hunt for the laser.Overall, good product.

One of the best items I have ever bought. For the price you pay, it does wonders. This item actually saved me an a lawsuit against my landlord. It won me the lawsuit, as I was able to prove the heating in the house was not reaching a certain threshold. I would highly recommend this product. It is extremely accurate and you can even beam things at long distances. I was beaming my kitchen from my living room, and worked like a charm. Whomever engineered this thing did a great job. Simple as that.

I use this on paranormal investigations. It is very accurate and great for checking temperatures on the other side of the room. I like that I can check other areas and not disturb any spirits by me going over to an area that someone is having cold spots in. Recommend this highly!! Very affordable and easy to use!!

I used this to diagnose the heat issues I was having with my car (1979 Corvette). It may not be 100% accurate but it is close enough for my needs.

Everything worked as intended great buy for the price . Never used a more expensive one so wouldn’t know how it would compare .

Bought one for 70 bucks and this one to see which one better. I returned the $70.00 IR and this one couldnt tell the difference.Only feature doesn't have if you need it, is history while your holding down the trigger.

I love this thermometer. I have wanted one ever since I saw one on a YouTube video. It did take a while to arrive from china, but I can recover from that. It makes soap making so much easier and cleaner. You can also use it for candy making.

I love this product! It is super inexpensive, but it works great. I have compared the readings to a standard candy thermometer and instant-read meat thermometer and it measures true. Great for making soap, where I need to know the temp of my lye and my fats, and I don't have to risk getting either on my skin. I wish I had bought this years ago!
