When our cat developed a UTI, we needed to protect our sofa and armchair from his "accidents" until he recovered. This cover is large enough that it's easy to slip over the chair, and easy to remove when we choose to. The plastic is sturdy enough that the cat's claws can't puncture it, which also protects the chair from scratching.

Had purchased this for a urine problem and it held. The furniture did not become saturated. I would only hand wash.

This cover fit nice over my chair. Protection against liquids, scuffs, and wear. It's durable, but doesn't stand a chance against cat nails. Great value for the money. Works as it should.

This is perfect for protecting furniture from cats that scratch. Very easy to cover and uncover furniture. A plastic smell initially, but dissipates over time. Highly recommend.

Upon opening there were 2 large tears in the plastic. The material is NOT at all like a shower curtain in feel or thickness, which is what we wanted (have cats with claws and 1 has a UTI that like peeing on furniture when stressed). We have recently purchased 4 sofa covers of a different brand that we really like off Amazon and was hopeful these would be similar, and sadly they are not. Returning and continuing the search.

have to have an extra small chair for it to cover anything. does not cover my recliner.

This easily fit over my chair and will protect it from my dogs.
