Good Witch: Season 1

I really enjoyed that Hallmark brought about episodes of Good Witch. I no longer have to wait an entire year to watch a movie. Although, the movies are worth waiting for. Season one was a lot of fun to watch and the developing new characters made the show. Grace is an excellent character and so is Dr. Sam Radford. It was written very well.

What can I say? I love this show. It's nice to have it on DVD to watch whenever I feel like it. Looking forward to the release of season 2 DVD after the season is over on TV!If you're not familiar with the show, it's about a woman who has exceptional empathy and a little bit of what you might call clairvoyance. It's not actually "magic" or "witchcraft" although they do sometimes play with those tropes, like that she has an unusual looking broom, a black cat, and loves Halloween. The show is very character driven and very engaging, with funny and poignant moments. Be sure to pay attention to every episode, as a lot of story ground gets covered in every single scene. Sometimes it gets a bit schmaltzy, and sometimes predictable, but most of the time it has enough fun twists and turns to keep you engaged. It's basically a good family drama -- better than a soap opera but not quite so overwrought as soaps usually are. And cleaner; you could watch this with your tween kids and not feel like you had to cover their eyes. :-)

If you enjoyed all the Good Witch movies on the Hallmark channel then you are sure to love the tv series! Others believe that the tv series did not have the magical feel that the original movies had, but I disagree! I believe that the tv series was just as good or maybe even better than the movies! The only problems that I had with this series was that the original actor who played the son Brandon Russel was not on the show. ( The new actor that plays him is doing a good job! ) I was also sad that Jake Russel was not in the show due to the actors scheduling conflicts because he was already on another show! Overall, I feel like the tv show was great and it is fun for the whole family! I would recommend this to anyone! ( I cannot wait for season 2! it comes out April 16th! )

I love the Hallmark Channel, but I've never seen any of the GW movies. I avoided the tv series because I just didn't think I'd care for it, until one night at the beginning of Season Two, I was feeding my newborn and couldn't get to the remote to change the channel. Turns out I really liked it! This is a show I don't have to pause when my kids walk in the room, which is so incredibly rare. The storyline is great, the actors are great, and it doesn't resort to bad language, innuendo, trashy clothes, etc. I'm so thankful for this. We homeschool (and I have a baby), so at night I'm too exhausted to watch anything. However, I can have GW on while my kids are running in and out of the house in the afternoon. Glad I found it.

First of all, this show isn't about a "witch." The name truly is misleading. The star of the Good Witch movies "Cassie Nightingale" (so brilliantly portrayed by Catherine Bell), is intuitive and seems to know what people need. She is very nurturing, understanding, nonjudgmental and has a lovingly peaceful way about her.This is the first season of the weekly series, not the movies. I purchased the SD as opposed to the HD and the quality has lost nothing. Interestingly enough, both my smart TVs, won't play serial episodes (one after another until I turn it off) yet when u.sing the Roku, it plays them concurrently.If I must turn in my DVR box for some reason, my recordings are lost however the great thing about purchasing shows on Amazon, is they will always belong to me, whether I have TV service or not.

Somehow I always forget how much I like the Good Witch movies/shows. I find myself reluctant to watch them, but then, I sit down and watch one and wonder why I was reluctant. I don't want to watch just one. I enjoy the characters and get swept up in their lives. I enjoy seeing the characters learn, grow, and gain wisdom. I like that none of the characters are above needing to learn something. These movies/shows leave you feeling like your time was well spent. I really appreciate that they can be watched by any age and have something for everyone. Too often it is hard to find something that my toddlers and teens will enjoy and are wholesome at the same time. Our family really enjoys The Good Witch.

A pleasant way to spend a few evenings with the whole family. I found myself re-watching them during this crisis. TV news and the internet leads to fear and depression. This series let me escape for a little while. It also gives a better insight humanity.

It's the Hallmark Channel so it's pretty cheesy as to be expected. However, it is a pretty accurate depiction of modern witchcraft. It's nice, feel good tv to watch after a hard day when I want to turn my brain off and relax.

I watched the series on the tv and really enjoyed it so wanted the series for my collection.\\the only problem is i have season on and three but they tell me that season to is unavailable. Thiswont stop me from getting the rest of the seasons but that sucksI AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD FOR CHICAGO FIRE SEASON 7 TO COME IN ENGLISH..THANK YOU AMAZON

I enjoy watching the Good Witch.

I was surprised when I started watching this, it seems I missed a few of the movies. But once I caught up \I liked what direction the shows creators had taken. Although the show is a little on the sweet side sometimes sweet is just what you need. Its a great family show with quiet messages, enjoy

I am so glad they made a series. I think they got the perfect cast!Also, Arrived in good time.
