Great Centerpiece for the yard!
I absolutely love this fountain! It looks very natural and is well made. It's definitely worth the effort to design a place for it in your yard. It was easy to assemble and runs great! The most work was in the landscaping, so give some thought to how you want it. I would not align the top of the well with the top of dirt, but about 1 1/2" higher to keep out errant lawn clippings, silt, etc. Build up the sides with river stones. It will need to be near a power source. Also I arranged a couple of solar spotlights on it, making it a lovely centerpiece to the yard at night. The birds have already found it and drink and bathe. The sound of it gurgling is perfect and changed the energy in my yard completely for the better! A tip to avoid algae bloom, pour a cup of hydrogen peroxide in it every few weeks. It won't hurt the birds. Don't put it too close to where you eat due to the birds visiting. You'll love it!

Painted on finish doesn't hold up.
We actually did our research and purchased this directly from Liquidart . They are owned by Blue thumb fountains. All was good until a few short months after our install when we noticed the "bowl" area at the top of the rock had black specks showing in it. Needless to say the black in the speck is the actual color of the rock before they paint it. And yes, it is painted so says Liquidart. Anyway after some back and forth and emailing pics of the rock and them trying to say there was nothing wrong with it , they sent us another. Ok, fair enough. We removed the old installed the new and all was back to normal. So we thought. You guessed it. Second verse, same as the first. Yep, paint coming off again and this one might be worse than the first. I might note that we never added any chemicals to this water feature and that whatever the cause of their obvious bad paint process and or materials was caused by pure water. So. Buyer beware. We will at some point replace this disgrace of an expense water feature, but for now it's a conversation piece.
