It took several cuts to figure out the best way to angle the tool and how much pressure to apply, but once I did, the results were fantastic. So far I’ve cut about 100 pieces of quilters cotton, mostly 2 pieces at a time, and the blade remains sharp. I cut a few 4 pieces at a time, but the cuts weren’t as clean. The precision of the cuts make sewing the pieces of masks together soooooo much easier than scissor cut fabric. A few notes for newbies like me: the blade is sharp - I cut my finger early on, and you must have some sort of cutting pad/board under the fabric.
