Not impressed
I bought this as an alarm clock, but I would still like to able to read the time when I'm getting dressed. It's definitely not bright enough for that. It's easy to program and use, but, in my opinion, not very well made. Nowhere on Amazon's page or in the instructions, does it tell you what batteries are needed for the battery backup. I know that's minor, but I found it irritating.All in all, I'm not impressed.

Love this alarm clock
Love this alarm clock. Perfect for what I use it for. I now have 3 of them. I will probably get 2 more.

We call it "squinty"
If you really don't want to know what time it is, this is the clock for you. This is unquestionably the dimmest digital clock on the market at any price, and will satisfy the most discriminating connoisseurs of illegibility.There are those who would prefer a clock with settings that allow one to select the brightness of the display, but such people are weaklings. This clock has no such namby-pamby settings. This is a clock for a man. A man who doesn't care what time it is.

Too Dim
Just a little dim. An adjustment for brightness would do well. I wouldn't but another. If you like a dim alarm clock this is the one for you.
