I️ put it together myself 7.5 months pregnant in maybe ten minutes or so. Extremely easy, and the directions were clear.I️ wanted a more permanent installation vs a tree strap, so I️ purchased standard swing hooks. I️ hooked this up and realized it was several feet off the ground. Let out the maybe 12” of slack and it’s still extremely high off of the ground. This is your standard wooden playground height. The ropes on this are just extremely short. So now I️ have to purchase some sort of extension or my kids can’t use this safely, not to mention the ten minutes it took me installing the swing hooks and the big holes they’ll leave if I️ do the strap they sell.Would’ve been five stars if the ropes were anything near a normal length.EDIT: I️ went to Home Depot and purchased four feet (two 2’ sections) and two additional clips. Cost me about $13. I️ only really needed an additional foot of chain per side once I️ hung it up, but I️ really didn’t want to have to drive way back out there again so I️ just got extra length. The kids are now safely able to play on it now that it isn’t so extremely high off the ground! They love it, and I️ haven’t been able to keep them off of it.

I bought this for my nephew in April 2017. Now in December 2017 my niece and nephews asked for a new one for Christmas. They didn't want to tell me they ripped the one I bought in April. Apparently they were all 3 standing on it and spinning and that is how it ripped. Basically, they felt really bad because they knew they were being too wild and that is why this extremely well made product ripped. In any event they live on this saucer in their backyard and have continued to use it with the rip. So I contacted the Avendale Mall asking if it was possible to re-buy just the fabric or something and they sent me an entire new one completely free!!! What an incredible company! Thank you Avendale Mall!!!Also, if you have kids they will love this. We hung it from the outside of the Lifetime Monkey Bar Adventure Swingset and it is safe and the kids love it. My nephew did not know what to make of it when he opened it as present last April, but once I set it up, he and his siblings have been addicted to it every day. Really fun.

We bought this for our 2 grandboys, ages 6 and 8, to put in our big maple tree. The assemblage went fine and we were able to adjust it to the right height for them. It's a beautiful swing--so colorful and strong! We bought it together with the Royal Oak tree/pole straps that were recommended and got 5% off the total. While assembling, I noticed a small flaw in one of the swing cords that concerned me, but I emailed Royal Oak right away and sent pictures of the flaw--they responded quickly, apologized, and promptly sent out a (free) new cord for replacement. Through that email, I found out that they are a small, friendly, family-owned US business, which I like to support. I could have bought one similar at Sam's Club for a cheaper price (and probably made overseas), but I'm not sure I would have gotten good customer support if needed. I would recommend this product and this company!

My kids really loved this swing but it only lasted a little over a year. It faded in the Florida sun terribly within a couple months and now it is torn and unusable.

Best Product and Best Company. We searched and searched for a swing both of my sons could pay on. We did not want the webbed version because I did not want an ankle getting twisted nor did they look very comfy. We are so glad we settled on this one. It is TOP NOTCH quality, the stitching and the fabric are strong. The ropes are perfect as well, not that cheesy material that flakes in the sun. Love love love this swing.

I saw a neighbor who hung one of these in their tree but it was one with the rope bottom. I ordered this one and hung it with 2 separate nylon straps and put a rope attached to the tree through the loops because our branch is very high. It's heaven! I love to get up in the morning and get on it. I can actually lay on it once I get a good swing going and it's so relaxing. My teenage son and his friends also like to play on it. They are big boys 150+ pounds so it's done well. Great purchase!

This swing is my happy place. I am a overweight housewife looking for a cozy swing to read to my child , entertain play dates, and also use myself. This swing is beautiful and very comfy ! Big enough for a couple kids , a child and an adult, or just 1 adult. It’s very sturdy however the 700lb weight limit is a bit of a stretch if I’m honest. I’m under 200lbs yet I see the bottom starting to sag after only half a day of use. This is what you need to know ... the item description says that everything is included to hang the swing... which I guess is true if you’re going to hang it from an already standing swing set or backyard play set but if you already had one why would you be shopping for a swing ?? ... I purchased this to hang from a sturdy healthy tree and out of the box with what is included is a bit of a disappointment... or stressful situation if your kids are eagerly waiting for you to hang it. The cords are extremely short ... if you intend to hang this from a tree you NEED the straps sold separately... 🙄 I feel like the product description is slightly mis leading ... I was very annoyed especially since this swing was already at the top of my budget and now I have to order the straps ... In order to save the day my bonafide redneck hubby managed to hang it with help from the trusty tow strap we use to pull the Jeep out of mud. I do not recommend this as a long term solution at all ... We will be purchasing the straps Royal Oak makes you buy separately to ensure the safety of our only son. Overall beautiful swing, great quality, comfortable, and a really neat feature to add to your yard but you NEED the straps ... this is preventing me from giving this a 5 star rating ...
