Brush was used! It was in the muslin bag, tied shut as though it was new. I pulled it out of the bag, and the brush is full of human hair, all intertwined in the bristles. Clearly a used item. Returned.

Extremely deceptive! Brush is smaller than it appears in illustration but that's okay because it fits comfortably in your pocket for 'on the go' grooming.As others have noted, bristles start falling out from first week of use.But the fact that it is displayed with a wooden comb in the principle illustration but ships as a brush only is inexcusably unethical. If you go back and read the description, after the shock wears off, you see it is the brush only they sell.Amazon needs to take immediate action to correct this deception.I bought one for myself and sent one to my son as a gift.Boy was I bamboozled! And I am not an Amazon rookie. I average double digit purchases per month over the course of a year and have been an Amazon customer for double digit years.

I own other brands so I can tell you that this is a really good beard brush, it is a strong bristle brush, not soft at all, but will not scratch your face skin, ideal for brushing after beard oil or pomade for perfect styling, the bamboo hand piece is beautiful and just a few bristles will fallen from this in The first days of use, the fitting bag is a real gig you can carry your brush clean and safe.So if you are looking for a medium hard bristle this is your brush

This brush is nothing more than a brush you'd find to take lint of of a whoop coat or even a bush for shoes. I'm sorry but it's the truth. I suppose if it's bristles were softer it would make me feel like it's a brush specifically for a beard. As is, is just a regular brush labeled with a beard guy on it.

I use this brush every day for my hair and for my beard (when I grow it out). The bristles are a medium-to-soft, so they work great on short to medium length hair. The brush itself seems well-made and hasn't shed any bristles despite being used daily and going on several trips in my dopp kit. It's lightweight and fits in your hand well. I don't really use the pouch, but it's a nice little extra.

Hemmed and hauled trying to pick one I would like. Ended up on this one and really enjoy it! It tames my short, 8 week coming in beard very well. What I really like it that it gets the courser grey areas to merge well with everything else. Not only surprised by how well it works, but how good it makes my face feel when using it.

I had purchased one of these brushes a while back. Back then I had wrote a lengthy review about "how even though it is advertised as soft, the bristles were hard." Fast forward to today, where now I keep my beard a little longer, I purchased a second brush; one for the house, one for the car. It's a good brush and I have yet to experience any of the problems that some of the one star reviews are claiming (bristles falling out or looking used)

Does it's job. Bristles don't feel too soft or hard... just right. I saw some reviews of people saying their bristles came out somewhat easily but i vigorously rubbed the brush on my hand for a minute or two and only a few came out so seems quality enough to me. The wood handle is also nice and overall the brush itself is certainly good, especially at the price point.The little pouch was kind of an annoyance due to the fact that there were little fabric strings and fuzz stuck in the brush from being inside the pouch. I recommend you turn the pouch inside out and smack it around a bit to get any loose strings and material out of there if you actually intend to use it to carry or store your brush.
