SAYAYA 109 Yards Braided Nylon Lift Shade Cord with 8 Pack Wood Cord Knobs, 1.8 mm (Black)

I bought this to string some Roman blinds that I made. The only reason that I give this 4 stars not 5 is that the hole in the knobs is too narrow for our use and we had to drill it larger. I braid three or five cords together (depending on shade width) to make the pull cord, but the knob will fit one string.Since there is so much cord, more than I will ever use in making blinds, I have been using it in other crafts. I sew a length of this cord to the bottom of face masks as a sort of lanyard so that the wearer can avoid placing the mask on potentially contaminated surfaces when not wearing it. The color does not rub off on clothing. The black color makes the string very unobtrusive and goes well with most mask colors. It is useful for making hangers for craft projects, as well as many other uses.

Strong, strong ! Used it on some heavy bamboo shades. No problem. For looks sake I should have chosen one thicker than what I have but all is good and shades work fine.

I drove all around my metropolitan area in search of this cord, and these knobs. Couldn't find them anywhere: not in craft stores, big-box stores, hardware stores. This reasonably priced package is exactly right, and it would have saved me most of a day if I'd only looked here first. First quality, well packaged, shipped immediately.

I used this to replace the string on one side of a bamboo shade that we haven’t been able to open properly for two years. That style’s not sold anymore due to choke hazard, so the only option was a non-matching shade or replacing them all. If you have that type all over your house and still like them, this is the answer. It’s super-easy and fast to replace the string. I also had to sew a metal “eye” back onto it, otherwise total time would have been about 15-20 minutes.

I used the chord to fix broken chords that adjusted the blinds up and down

Used this to replace worn cords on my blinds. The original cord was a bit thicker and wore out after around 2 years of daily use. The replacement cord is thinner, but seems to hold up at least as well. It is also "slicker" which makes it smoother to open or close. Because of this, I ended up replacing the cords on even the blinds that didn't need it. Good purchase.

Shade cord is as advertised and works great.

We have a rental property and renters invariably pull off the cords to the venetian blinds. I know most blinds no longer have the cords but rather a twist rod but without having to replace fairly new blinds we were able to repair them with this kit so they can be raised and lowered and we can open and close the slats.

When my travel trailer's window shade snapped the guide string I was dreading having to take it down and restring it. The OEM string was very flimsy and cheap. Checked out many sellers and this seemed the best deal and quality for the price and was not disappointed!!. This string was 10 times better than the original and by watching one YouTube video I was done in no time. This cord was slightly thicker than the original that came with my blinds but it worked perfectly. It was delivered in less than 24 hours and I was able to replace the cord easily.
