I read many, many reviews, and saw where some customers reported that this cushion is too hard. I also saw many more that reported how comfortable it is.I have used it in my spa tub. It feels unnatural if I sit up high enough to get in a comfortable place for my head. But that seems to be the key; sitting up high. The woman in the picture is somewhat too low.It is also quite hard. I'm hoping that I'll 'break it in'. I would return it, but no longer have the original packaging. And it's kind of my fault for ignoring the customer reports saying it was hard (I guess I just read what I wanted to read).It does, however, seem to be water tight, which is a plus in the south where the humidity prevents things from drying out completely quite often....mold, mildew, yuck. So I don't think that will be an issue with this pillow.

When I first placed this on my tub last night I was thrilled! It fit perfectly to my tub and the suction cups were tight and strong. It fit perfectly to my neck and nestled my head comfortably from side to side. But my problem is this: it's just too hard. If it had just a little more cushioning it would be perfect! But during the time I was in the bath (20-30 minutes) I had to keep shifting it slightly to help alleviate the sore spots that came from the pillow pressing against points on my neck and base of skull.I might order another couple of types of pillows to compare. It could be this is the best there is to be had out there in bath pillows, but would surely love to see Bael offering a pillow that is softer!

This pillow will only fit a specific type of tub. Unless you have a ledge of sufficient depth where your head will be located, you cannot use the top two suction cups. My tub did not. I was able to use it, however, by turning it upside down and attaching it to the tub by the single cup at the point of the heart (see photo.) I actually found it a more comfortable position since it places your head above the protrusions which then cradle your neck. It isn't sufficient, though, to hold the pillow in place between uses. It means removing and replacing it when needed. Not a big deal actually and it allows you to easily clean behind it, which would be more difficult if all three suction cups were attached. The critical factor really is the shape of your tub and whether it can accommodate it. I have decided to return it for other reasons. One is that I found it to be too firm to be comfortable with prolonged use and the other, more importantly, is that water had infiltrated the cover after only one usage. Upon applying pressure to it, I noted air bubbles and water being expelled through the seam.

Pillow does not fit properly on my tub which has straight sides with no gentle sloping. I did read other reviews that said the same, but am glad I ignored them. When placed upside down this pillow not exactly comfortable but is a huge improvement over the 90 degree angle of my tub.I can make the pillow blow bubble if I press incredibly hard on it, but do not believe water will get into and cause a problem unless I put effort into purposely making it.Suctions well enough to stay in place even with only 2 in contact with tub.A bit firm, and when upside down not a perfect fit for my head.

Although the pillow seems well made, it's awkward and uncomfortable shape defeat the purpose.It's water proof outer material appears to work well, keeping water (and therefore damp smell) out. The suction cups work well and hold on to the bathtub fairly well.But the shape of the pillow is ridiculous. It just feels really uncomfortable, forcing your neck and back to arch in a very uncomfortable way. This makes it impossible to use for more than 2 to 3 minutes before your neck starts to ache.Three stars not two, because it's well made... but three stars not 4 or five, because the design is impractical.

We have a SAFE STEP walk-in tub. The pillow will not work properly with the design of this tub. There is not a surface that will match up to the three suction cups. If used as seen in the picture, only one suction cup will hold and the pillow will fall over sideways. We have placed the pillow up side down where two suction cups are in place and it holds okay. It's upside down, but it's better than nothing. We're going to keep it because we cannot find a better solution.

This is a well made product but very hard, not soft. Also look at the photo and make sure your tub curves on the back like the one in the photo. You wouldn't want this type of pillow to be too soft but this one is very very hard and hurt the back of my head. Fine for some people I am sure but if you have a sensitive head, this one can actually give you a headache.

It is comfortable and I think that it is one of the better designs available. It is a match, in shape, to the Jacuzzi Brand product.However, it is changing color and it has not been used yet.I has taken on a pale brownish color to either side of the neck area. It was spotless when first opened.That is a disappointment.

have I got a different product compared to others? Most reviews are saying they are comfortable, but for me they are just not soft enough, and since I don't have enough space between the tub and the wall it's also hard to fitFunnily enough I feel it a bit more comfortable if I turn it the other way around but then I need even more space to fit it

I asked a question before ordering this as to whether it was a true white and not a cream shade. Several said it was, except one who said it wasn't and its useless! I ordered it on strength of the other responses thank you. It is definitely a true white and matches my expensive bath mat.This is very comfy and stays put in the bath, but it wont stay put afterwards. It may be my bath edge, it does have a slight ridge on the outer edge which I think may just catch the large suction cups at the top making them lift. I have tried pulling it a little forward but it never stays put except when in use, so I guess it does what it should. It is by far the most comfortable pillow I have used and I have bought many! Well worth the money spent as it gives a very relaxing bath ;o)
